“Chris and Stuart were there to greet us and were most helpful with there local knowledge. The villa was beautiful. Nicely appointed with loads of space for my partner and I (and 5 adult children). The villa is so big we were never quite sure where all the kids were! As you might expect, there was marble everywhere which helps keep you cool in the heat of the day. It has a huge area for sunbathing round the pool and the biggest umbrella you'll ever see for some shade. There is a spanish family living next door so after midnight its only courtious to move things indoors. The village is 10 mins walk (downhill) and 20 mins walk back (uphill). Get a taxi!! 3 to 5 euros with tip. The village is quiet. Some pretty nice restuarants with reasonable prices. Check out La Fonda and Delfins (ask for the table on the balcony and enjoy a stunning sunset alongside superb food. Avoid the English type bars that are clustered up an alleyway. They can be very expensive if you fancy a vodka n coke. Las Americas is 15 mins away in a taxi (18-20 euros) or about 50 mins on the bus (less than 3 euros). Only slight downer over the whole fortnight was barking dogs next door. But do yourselves a favour, book this joint now. You will not regret it. I would return to Villa Agustine in a heartbeat!!”

“We stayed here in July 2010 and had a fantastic holiday. It was our first Villa holiday so I had no idea how amazing it would be to have so much private space, a beautiful private pool and a fabulous balcony - a home away from home as it were. it was really well furnished, spotless and had a lovely "new" feeling about the place. The owners and their assistants could not do enough for us, yet were invisible. We were an extended family so we hired a 9 seater and that made everything perfect. There was a small baby in our party too so it was really convenient to be in such a well kitted out place. We had bbqs several days, went out for dinner most nights, whether down the hill to Callao Salvaje for a quick bite and a Karaoke or further afield for some wilder activity! I would recommend this to any family - even the younger spirited variety, but a car is a must. If you are all on for wild nightlife, it may not be suitable. Neighbours are sensitive to any noise outdoors after 11pm and without a designated driver, the main drag is quite far away for regular taxis (€20 taxi). It worked well for us though as we dropped the teens/twenties into the thick of it, then dropped the car home and walked down the hill (5 mins down 10 mins back!) to Callao Salvaje for a quieter (but by no means dull) evening out. I would like to think that we will revisit, but there are so many countries to explore! If we were to visit Tenerife again, I would definitely be hoping to stay at Villa Augustine.”

“stayed in September 2009 for my wifes 50th birthday and had a great time.Re booked the villa for june 20010 for my 50th birthday (all a year older) and once again the same people returned and again we were made very welcome and had a fabulous time.
This time as suggested on my last feedback we hired a minibus and it was well worth the extra money we got great value out of it (only cost 255 euros from orcarcanarias.com)

“This was our second stay at Villa Augustine. We loved it so much we came back. It is extremely well appointed and has everything you need for a relaxing and fun holiday. It is well located being only a 20 minute drive from the airport. There are many beaches and restaurants on the door step and it is in a lovely quiet town. The pool is lovely and heated so our 5,4,3 and 2 year old loved it! It has a large outdoor area out back with a bar and barbecue, perfect for card games in the evenings! The balcony was also lovely and sunny with sea views. The Villa owners Chris and Stu are really lovely people, we really benefited from all their help. They really couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I would recommend this villa to anyone. Our party of 10, 6 adults and 4 children were made perfectly comfortable! We all had a great time. Thanks Chris and Stu and look forward to next time!”

“Stayed at Villa Augustine beginning of december, had a lovely time. Our party was aged from 11years to 62 years, including teenagers.
villa catered for everyone and was spacious. Chris and Stuart Arnold are lovely friendly people and nothing was too much trouble.
I do agree with the other review, hire a car or try a nine seater, its very reasonable in tenerife.”

“a beautiful villa really enjoyed our stay.Our age group of the nine people that stayed were from 25-67 and we all enjoyed our stay. If we were to go again we would hire a vehicle taxis can be quite expensive.However the villa is highly recomended and was very clean and chris and stuart made us very welcome”

“We stayed here July/August 09 - our party was 8 adults and two children aged 2 & 4, we had an absolutely fantastic time. The villa is even better than it looks on the photo's, the games room and childrens play area were an added bonus and the pool was great. Everything was spotlessly clean and Chris & Stu really have thought of everything, the villa is extremely well equipped. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, we will certainly be going back”
