“We visited Marina View 2 from 8th to 15th December 2011 and can confirm that we had plenty of room both inside and out and that there is plenty of room for much more than just two people, The Villa was very clean and with good facilities and very well located for both the Marina Rubicon and a local supermarket.”
Owner's response: Thanks Keith your comments are most welcome...please do come again sometime! Phil

“Hi Phil,
Just thought that I would take the opportunity to provide some feedback on the villa at Marina View 2 and I can only say complimentary things about the accommodation and the facilities.
We very much enjoyed our time at the villa and the accommodation was perfect for the six people in our party providing every facility that we needed including the pool and the barbecue which both received plenty of use - we lacked nothing in terms of what was provided in the kitchen and throughout the villa and I would gladly recommend the villa to family and friends.
Myself and Rose would also consider booking the 2 bedroom villa if we decide to go to Playa Blanca again on our own and the amenities such as the nearby Supermarket and choice of restaurants were excellent.
Anyway, thanks again and Marina View 2 certainly contributed to a memorable holiday.”
Owner's response: Thanks Stephen your comments are really appreciated. Phil

“We had a lovely time weather was great, villa was very nice too, it was nice to be able to get ITV on the TV, but we didnt watch too much tele, we were out and about most days, long walks ( but not up any mountains, Chris back wouldnt cope with that.
Its so lovely down Marina Rubicon end, a couple of cafe owners/ workers remembered us ( the cafe with the parrots ) just at the front of the shopping centre, so that was nice.
Picked up a few duty free bits whilst there, flights & car hire was spot on, and cheap!
Will be in touch again early next year I expect, to get the villa we want
Thanks again for everything”
Owner's response: Thanks Pam and Chris your comments re very welcome. Phil

“Marina View 2 is fantastic. Tastefully decorated and well equipped, this villa is only a short walk away from the lovely Marina Rubicon area of Playa Blanca. The pool and garden area are great and the cactus gave us a few giggles. The large BBQ is great for nights in and there are some lovely restaurants nearby. Phil and Dawn are a pleasure to deal with. Thank you. Overall a great holiday in a fantastic villa in a superb location”
Owner's response: Donna , many thanks for your review and I know why the Cactus gave you some giggles, it does us to!! All the best Phil and Dawn

“We found Marina View 2 an excellent Villa which was clean and very spacious. The garden/pool area is very well kept and we enjoyed several nights staying around the pool and taking advantage of the large barbecue. The villa is a short walk to the actual marina where we found some lovely restaurants.
Overall a villa and location highly recommended!”
Owner's response: David that is really great and thanks Phil

“It was 31 yrs since we were last in Lanzarote and so expected lots of changes, but pleased to say the island was still as lovely as we had remembered, even though there had been lots more property built it hasn't been spoilt at all.
Marina View 2 was all what we were led to expect, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and convenient. The walks from the villa were lovely and made easier by the well planned walkways, never had as much exercise on holiday before. We will most definately be returning to Marina 2 in the future and have already recommended it to our friends.”
Owner's response: Adrienne, that isreally kind of you to write such nice words and you are most welcome to come any time you like.

“Hi Phil and Dawn - recently returned from Marina View 2. Had an excellent 2 weeks with good weather and the villa was first class and Deb and Chris looked after us well. Everyone liked it so much we may be back for more in the future. The villa is more of a home than a holiday rental and the patio doors out to the pool gave a great feeling of space. The covered conservatory is a good idea for those who want some shade. We didn't use the BBQ but maybe next time.”
Owner's response: Thanks Phil your comments are very appreciated

“Hi Phil and Dawn we are both back from your Villa Marina View 2. We found the Villa to be excellent, very quiet and private and close to a number of restaurants, which were easy to walk to on foot. There were no problems at all during our stay and everything worked in the villa as it should do. Many thanks Allan.”
Owner's response: Allan, that was really kind of you to make these very possitive comments about Marina View 2, thanks Phil and Dawn

“We have just returned from this property so it is fresh in our minds. This is the first time we have stayed in a villa but not our first time at Playa Blanca Lanzarote. So we had a fairly good idea of what was where and where to go for days out. We are a family of four with two boys aged 12 and 14 and we fitted very comfortably into this villa. There is plenty of space to unpack into and plenty of room to leave suitcases for the week. On arrival the villa was spotlessly clean and towels etc left on the beds. My parents came with us but rented the other villa Phil owns and that again was spotlessly clean. The smaller villa ahs a slightly larger outside area but as the beach is so close it's not needed really. The shops are nearby literally 2 minute walk away. There was no noise at night time at all except from the other villas nearby but all was quiet by 11 at night. Kitchen jad all the appliances you needed but we ate out every night and had a barbie o 1 night which was great fun! WE hired the bikes which are a good quality and a really nice idea in the morning is to ride the bikes to Sandra's Patisserie and get pastries for breakfast. She makes them fresh everyday and boy are they good!! And the bike ride helps to burn them off!! She makes wonderful sandwiches too which are cheap to buy on lovely freshly made bread. Stop for coffee there as well!!! MMMMmmmmmm!! All the shops are bike rides away at the very most and will keep you stocked up for your stay easily. The restaurants, well where to start. There are plenty to choose from catering for all tastes from indian to chinese, spanish tapas and some beautifullly cooked fresh fish. Recommend trying El mano's for good lobster risotto. WE also tried another restaurant just passed it and I can't remember the name but the food was lovely we ate there a few times. Sevice was excellent and there is a waitress who adores children and will spoil them rotten!! Visit the Teguise market on Sunday for fun if nothing else, lots of handbags for sale and you need to barter to get a deal. But I love it there!! It's a huge place and worth seeing. There's a little market every Saturday and Wednesday in the marina it's self that's worth a visit. The marina is beautiful and lots of the restaurants face out to sea so you have a lovely view whilst you eat. Prices are the same as England so not cheap but the food is better, much fresher. The weather is usually nice and we had a heat wave whilst we were there and it is the hottest I have ever known it to be there. Usually at night it is much cooler with a nice breeze but not this year. But good weather for a tan!! Beach is lovely and clean, water has some god fish to see and would recommend taking the pedolos out and swimming off the back of them. Take a boat trip as well for a tan top up with a lovely breeze always worth it. Visit the volcanos, do the camel ride have fun. The lovely thing about Lanazarote is the laid back pace yet they seem a sporty active type of people. Loads of locals who bike ride and swim. So you can get some activity in and then just chill out. Good family holiday. Would most definitely go there again and would most definitely use this villa again. It was roomy, clean, safe and comfortable. A really really good base to explore the island from. And I'm pretty hard to please!! Should also say there are some nice views from the balcony across the marina looking out to the mountains/volcanos which are lovely to see at first light as the sun first starts to hit them. Would love to be back there tomorrow morning, get on the bike go to Sandras get some goodies and ride back. Then hit the beach have a rest, some fun in the sea then head for the villa and a lovely meal out.”
Owner's response: That is really, really kind of you to post that brilliant review. Many thanks Phil

“Hi Phil, we went to Marina View 2 your 3 bedroom property and were most impressed. Like in Marina View your 2 bed you have relally gone to town on very high quality furnishings and the villa is genuinely 5 star quality. The bedrooms are a really good size as is the kitchen and we really like the living room which is like a conservatory with loads of big windows and the outdoor eating area which were wind protected. The garden is very private and enclosed so that is also good to. As I mentioned before Mum struggles with longer walks and having everything close by like the supermarket and restaurants is a really great help and we saved lots of money not needing a hire car! We will be back to this villa or Marina View and can't wait!”
Owner's response: Thats really kind of you Dawn you really must come again!
