“Had a really lovely time here in Apt 405 everything you could need in this home from home. I actually did cook a meal or two here. We love eating out but because it is so well equiped we had to try an el fresco evening meal on the balcony. We will be coming back.”

“We have just returned from a fantastic two weeks on Tenerife. This apartment truly is a gem! It is excellently located near the Los Gigantes harbour, though in a quiet location. The black sand beach is on one side of the property and a very nice public swimming pool (open air, of course ...) on the other. The apartment is perfectly equipped, even including a huge collection of DVDs. Magnificent views from the terrace on the Atlantic, the rocks and La Gomera - excellent place for a sunset diner.”

“We had a lovely week at this apartment at the beginning of June. The apartment is spacious, has everything you need and is well situated beside the harbour with lovely views. The instuctions given by the owners were perfect and easy to follow. Los Gigantes is the perfect place for a quiet chilled out holiday with lovely restaurants and bars..”

“Recently stayed for a week in Apt 405. We wanted peace, quiet, comfort and a view and that is exactly what we got. The apt is extremely well equipped with everything you need from books and dvd's, satellite tv, sun loungers, and all you could ever want in the kitchen for a self catering holiday. There are even 2 sun hats in the hall such is the attention to detail!We spent hours just sitting on the balcony taking in the stunning view of the harbour in front, the spectacular cliffs to one side and La Gomera on a good day to the other side. Plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. The very generous welcome pack in the apt on arrival meant we could search out the best places to buy provisions in our own time.The beach has re-opened now but we preferred to spend time at the Lido just a 5 minute walk away, with plenty of sun beds and a lovely natural rock pool to one side. The air conditioning was a real plus as was the garage for our car. All in all the week was a complete success not least because of the care and thoughtfulness of owners Joe and Marilyn. It was a pleasure to meet you both while we were there, hope to do it again sometime.”

“Four of us stayed here in penthouse 324 in March 2010, beautifully kitted out, great kitchen, good range of movies to watch ( nearly 300?) quiet, best location with great views from Gomera to the cliffs. Wifi dongle and mobile proved very useful to keep in touch with business.The aircon was another bonus , great walks and swimming, nice to have the free pass for the Laguillo Pool which included free sunbeds !
Next visit will book for my diving course in the centre below and of course stay with Joe and Marilyn.”

“My wife and I stayed in 324 for 10 days during October 2010 and had a very relaxed and enjoyable break. The apartment provided everything that we needed and it was certainly clean and comfortable. It was our first visit to Tenerife and I am sure we are likely to return at some future date. Next time, however, we would like to try the other apartment owned by Joe and Marilyn which I think is 405. The view and sunshine on the balcony seems a lot superior. The whole holiday booking process was totally painless. Joe and Marilyn provided heaps of information and guidance and responded to all of our questions swiftly and with genuine helpfulness and humour. Thank you both.

Owner's response: Dear Carl and Jane, Last year we bought El Laguillo swimming pool passes for 4 sunbeds for year-round dawn to dusk sunbathing, the passes are quite small you may have missed them, we also added a local mobile and wi-fi dongle for guests to use (p.a.y.g.) in 324 , thanks for your kind comments we look forward to your next visit. “What a fab appartment, everything spotlessly clean and equiped well in excess of what is needed. Only wish we had more time there to watch all the films and take full advantage of everything.

We lived in Tenerife several years ago, so had I good idea of what to expect in the Canaries, we were not disappointed.

Well done for the very high standards and thoughtful extras.

Next time we are back in Tenerife, this is the first accomodation we will try to book”

“We had a lovely time staying here and would certainly recommend this apartment for those wanting a very relaxing home from home sunny break. The apartment is very well maintained and has pretty much everything you need.....including a generous welcome pack, lots of films and books to choose from and even an ipod docking station!

The owners Joe and Marilyn are really lovely people and it was great meeting them for a few 'sundowners' as they were there at the same time as us for some well deserved Winter sunshine!

Highly recommended....enjoy!”

“Well, what can I say, property 5752 is a real home from home. Everything that you need on your holiday or a long stay vacation is there for you. The owners have made the apartment very comfortable. Kitchen has toaster, microwave and also full oven and hob, all your kitchen utensils and dishes are supplied, there is even a small washing machine and line in the laundry area. Plenty of drawers and wardrobe space in the bedrooms and hair dryer also supplied. Very comfortable lounge with TV and DVD. The apartment is very spacious, and kept immaculate, there is air con or heat (if it was ever needed). The owners have also supplied a book with a vast about of information about the area, the apartment, buses, taxis, shopping etc. Location is superb and there is a large balconey giving you views over the harbour and sea, wonderful to look at whilst having breakfast or evening drinks.
Lots of cafes, resaurants and shops in the vicinity whilst still retaining a small resort feeling. Plenty of good walks around the area and also plenty of boat trips out of the harbour to see pilot whales and dolphins.
My husband and I had a wonderful 10 days at the beginning of November 2010, the weather was also perfect. We wouldn't hesitate to go back again to the area and would be very disappointed if we had to stay any where else other than 'Los Gigantes Penthouse Apartment'.

We arrived home on Saturday afternoon after a great fortnight in Los Gigantes.
We would just like to thank you both for everything, the apartment was superb, had everything you could possibly need and was in a great location. Everything went smoothly with no problems at all - well apart from my unsuccessful attempts to use the phone to confirm our taxi for departure - I just could not get through and used my mobile in the end (got through first go).

“This apartment was excellent in just about every way ! It was very clean, clearly very well maintained and the owner had ensured that all the equipment and information that you can possibly want was there and functional. It had an excellent balcony with a great view which if you wanted just to relax read and watch the world and the marina go by was ideal. the resort was relatively quiet with plenty of good restaurants of varying types but in our experience reasonable value (given the current dreadful exchange rate) . I would also recommend the Sun Holidays transfer service if you intend to go there. If I were to be extremelly picky from a self catering perspective I would say there is no oven but I expect in the prevailing heat there you would not want to use one if there were.”

Owner's response: Thank you for your kind comments , as to the missing oven? we cooked our christmas turkey in it 6 weeks ago! a mystery? fitted under the kitchen worktop? .... you must have had a good time ! ? ! we will replace it if it has gone!?... p.s. “Poblado Marinero is a fabulous holiday rental, the views of the harbour are amazing (the sunsets to ndie for!) and it is a lovely quiet apartment block which is very clean and private. It is also close to restaurants, shops and only a few minutes to the beach. You really couldn't wish for anywhere better. I would highly recommend it for both couples and families.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Poblado Marinero, it was situated in an excellent location near the harbour and good restaurants and only a short walk to the town centre and to the beach. The apartment 324 was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the DVD player. We also appreciated the air-conditioning . It would have been great to have a CD player as we missed being able to play music, but we understand the noise policy and not having music loud so not to disturb the neighbours. We struggled with the key safe outside the apartment on the day of our departure. We should have done a practice run before hand as we left it to the last minute to lock up and panic set in as I couldn't lock the key in the safe and our mini-bus to the airport was waiting for us. Only realising now that of course i needed the code again! It was my fault because I wasn't prepared, so I overlooked the exit procedure. Thankfully, I rang up Joe shortly afterwards to explain the predicament and he was very kind and calm, I apologise for this oversight. Both my mother and I had a really lovely relaxing time, we liked the pool opposite the apartment and enjoyed the beach (but the sand was really hot to walk on). We went on the Masca walk, which was great and a trip to see the Whales and the dolphins is a definite must. The weather, food, and the whole experience was really lovely and we would love to return some day. Thanks very much for an enjoyable stay.”

Both Penthouses's now have iPod docks (good quality), so take your iPhone/ iPod / or mp3 player and you can have the smooth sounds of your favourite music whilst enjoying the views on your holidays, (please consider the neighbours). thanks for a great suggestion , you ask we respond it just gets better, enjoy!.

“lovely property, nice views, felt really tranquil ......could happily have moved in! it was so nice having the two bathrooms , a kitchen with all you need and more and it was very thoughtful to have so many DVDs available. It is such good value for money, my partner and I have paid easily twice as much for similar properties
Lots to do in the area, will definetely be going back when I can establish what my kids timetable is next summer...1 at uni 1 at school makes planning hard,
If all else fails I`ll go back without them!”

The town with its restaurants,bars and wide variety of entertainment is within a 5 minute walk.”

“This is our third visit to the Penthouse and it just gets better and better , this time more pleasant surprises, there were 150 dvd's and wi-fi with a dongle ? It proved a boon for keeping an eye on business at home when my wife wasn't looking . Its great too having a lift up to your front door after a night " on the town"

Our Holidays now couldn't be easier, packing now consists of a few clothes and sun tan cream as this owner thinks of everything! The Penthouse has lovely furnishing and is always presented to the highest standard, and my wife loves the fact that there are 2 hairdryers! In case I am using one ....

The full air-conditioning was a real bonus this year as the temperature got into the high 30s so "sleeping at night was no problem".

It feel's like its our home we are so used to it and chill within minutes because we know where everything is. The Espana breaks website proved a real "find" and we are glad the UK owners stay on top of everything without a fuss, all that remains now is to plan our next break in april? Guess where?

“This is a fantastic apartment in a fantastic location. Joe and Marilyn have done everything and more to make our stay very comfortable. They even provide a welcome starter pack of the main essentials of bread, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, butter and marmalade all in the price. This if you book with other people is an added extra. I would strongly recomend any of Joe and Marilyns apartments to anyone. This was the third time we have stayed in Los Gigantes but the first time in in Joe and Marilyns apartment and we have no doubts that this was the best apartment we have stayed in.”
