“I stayed at the Villa Clara for two weeks in August and had a fantastic holiday. I loved Lanzarote and hope to go back next year. The villa was very clean and spacious and the owners were very nice and always helpful.

Thanks for a stress free holiday”

“We stayed here for 2 weeks in May 2011 and have to say that it was a fantastic holiday. The cleanliness of the villa was outstanding and everything you needed was provided. Clare and Kate the owners of the villa were really helpful and brilliant people to rent off. Communication between us was brilliant, prompt responses to emails and information needed was provided. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Clare and Kate for making our stay an enjoyable one. We will definitely be booking again.

Many thanks.”

“Our family stayed at Villa Clara in Feb 2011. It was our first holiday with our 5 month old so we were quite apprehensive. There really was no need for us to be. From booking onwards the whole experience was fantastic. The villa is really well maintained , beautifully clean and tidy. The kitchen is well equipped, with everything we needed for a week self catering in the sunshine.
Clare and Kate were so helpful and friendly. I have recommended the Villa to a number of friends already and wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.”

“Three words... Fantastic, Wonderful, Exceptional...”

“The villa was pleasant but some small issues took the shine off an otherwise nice property. Although the villa was very nice, and clean and tidy both inside and out, there were a few annoying things which, while they didn't spoil our stay, made me feel that the bare minimum had been provided in terms of equipment and welcome pack. On our first day I had to go to the shops because there was very little food on arrival. Aside from a few tea bags, some milk, bread and juice the cupboards and fridge were empty. No butter, jam, salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar etc and no spare toilet/kitchen paper or surface cleaner, no soap, just washing up liquid. So on arrival I had to go out and buy what I consider essentials. I think a welcome pack should include basics - what holiday home is complete without salt and pepper and at least one bar of soap?A welcome bottle of wine would also have been a nice touch and not expensive. One slight issue was that the pool tiles around the edge became very very slippery when wet - not a brilliant choice for a pool surround - so we ended up mopping up the water into a bucket every time we used the pool to avoid accidents. We were left 3 beach towels, rather small and thin, which of course had to be dried daily. Beach towels are pretty vital on a summer holiday and I think a spare set is vital. It did not occur to me to pack beach towels since we were staying in a fully-equipped villa. Other small things - the instructions in the villa directed us to use a green wheelie to get rubbish to the main collection point but there was no green wheelie bin so had to carry it. Fortunately we didn't generate a lot of rubbish so only one bag to get to the dumpster. While there were brochures with some basic info on local things to do, it was pretty slim. Since we were visiting friends in Lanzarote they took us out to explore the islands, but perhaps it would be a good idea to introduce a visitors book so that guests could add their suggestions on things to do, shops to use, excursions etc. We had to rent a car for a couple of days and it would have been helpful to have a list of recommended rental companies, within reasonable walking distance of the villa. I left behind a car rental brochure and a flier for a fantastic tour guide company who made our holiday very special. If you want some suggestions on excursions you can contact Carmen on info@lanzaroteactiveclub.com. Tel +34 650 89 069. So on balance Villa Clara was a nice play to stay, but it would have been very special with just a few extra essentials provided so we didn't have to start our holiday by going to the shops. Alison”

“We all enjoyed our stay at Villa Clara, the facilities are excellant, the heated pool was great for a dip and cool off in the February sun. walking distance to all bars and restaurants., a short taxi ride back at night. 2 close by supermarkets make shopping for essentials vey easy. For dining out Navaro's is a must, the tapas bar opposite serves nice tapas for afternoon snacks. Would not hesitate in recommending Villa Clara for a stay in Costa Tewuise.”
