“I stayed alone at suite 22 at the beginning of the month on a quick last minute break and had the most relaxing break in years. The view from the balcony is gorgeous, its literally 2 minutes walk to the supermarket, bars and restaurants but is very quiet. The walk to the harbour took me about 6/7minutes along the new boardwalk and maybe 10 coming back. The apartment has everything you could need and the 2 days I spent by the lovely pool, there were only 3 other people there, bliss.
Douglas made the whole booking process so easy and pleasant and I definately intend another visit hopefully in the near future to recharge the batteries. Many thanks.”

“We had a fantastic time- The apartment was everything we wished it could be and so very spacious with a terrific sea view from the large balcony. It was very well equipped and very comfortably furnished.
All arrangements went very smoothly and the reception and pool bar staff made us feel very welcome. There were loads of good reasonably priced restaurants nearby and it was a short walk to the harbour and along the promenade. Shopping was also very easy with 2 supermarkets within a 3 minute walk
THOROUGHLY RECOMMENDED”

“Stayed in this apartment for 5 days in early April. The apartment is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Towels were changes one during our stay. The balcony is huge and has a table, 2 sunbeds, 2 umbrellas and sunshine all day. We didn't use the pool or bar so can't comment on them.

The complex is close to a supermarket, 3 bars and 1 restaurant (Marios). Its a 10 minute walk to the harbour (downhill) and 20 back or €3 in a taxi.

Taxi fare from the airport is €14 and takes 15 mins.”

“My wife and I had a great holiday at 22 Lago Verde. The apartment was even better than the advert suggested. It is really up market as is the whole complex.
It is extremely well equiped and the spacious balcony was very private with fantastic sea views
We would highly recomment to people of all ages”

“The apartment was excellant & had everything that you could want on a self catering holidayThe exceptionally large balcony had great views and you could have the sun all day. It was very handy for the beach, restaurants, harbour & shops.
The pool area was spacious with plenty of sunbeds for everyone. The pool bar staff were very helpful & friendly
We would certainly recommend this apartment to people of all ages.”

Owner's response: 1000 apologies for the torn sheets. I will deal with the matter immediately with our cleaners in Lanzarote

“Stayed here in July 2010.A fantastic apartment - very spacious and comfortable. had all the amenties i.e comfy beds, fantastic bathroom with good powerful shower , kitchen was well equipped and clean. The complex was very clean and pool was heated . the restuarants around were fab - we loved Emma's Mexican and Marios , both served very large portions so we shared a lot of the time as Mario's garlic bread came as an 16" garlic pizza so it served the 4 of us as a starter . Emma's fajitas were HUGE although we did ask for some more tortillas as we ran out of them before the fajitas !!! oh ..and the mojitos are to die for !! agree with everyone that the hill back up is a killer from the strip but if you eat at the named above or the lovely harbour restuarants you can walk off the dinner nicely before going to bed and not get to out of puff. The pool bar is run by Bernie and Michelle - a lovely Irish couple who can't do ENOUGH for you and no matter what time you want food he will cook it for you which was a huge bonus as the kids sometimes never left the pool till 6/7pm . no need to get up early for beds either as nobody was greedy with them so you came home relaxed - nothing worse than setting an alarm clock ....so overall we had a FAB TIME - would love to go back . Thanks Again Douglas you have a really wonderful holiday home .”

“This appartment is absolutely fantastic very clean and spacious, views from large terrace beautiful, plenty of CDs books and DVDs and even more DVDs can be borrowed from Bernie who owns the pool bar his welcome was second to none his brekkie takes some beating and is one of the few you can still get after midday! The pool is spotless as is the rest of the complex and being just a few minutes stroll down to the town where there is a lot going on makes the location just great mind you I would advise a cab back as the hill back is a killer! One word of caution though the steps even though staggered in groups of about 8 are a pain when leaving with suitcases although taxi drivers are helpful all in all appartment 22 is the best I've stayed in during my stay on the islands it's got all you need except a hairdryer lol but 10 mins on the terrace and hey you don't need one. Although my hubby and I in 40 s this is still a good location for families too A GREAT BIG THANKYOU DOUGLAS had a lovely time.”

“This is the third visit by familiy members to Suite 22 and all have praised, cleanliness & facilities within the apartment and comfort.
Situated in an ideal location above the harbour (5 minute walk), it is an excellent base for touring the island but also has good local walks.
The pool side area was maintained to a very good standard and reasonably child friendly (except for the smaller ones).
Overall - excellent”

11th October 2009 by JAGS (STAYED IN SEPTEMBER 2009)

“Really enjoyed our stay, very relaxing and quiet. Apartment is well equipped but on arrival the floors looked like they needed a more thorough clean( hairs on floor from previous occupants) and the apartment floor wasnt cleaned in our second week.
The location is quiet but there are several bars and restaurants nearby, make sure you visit Bellienies if you want an extra special meal, food was brilliant!
The pool bar was run by Bernie, who is very helpful and friendly.
We would return again to this complex.
Beware, the complex is in the old town above the harbour, which is down a hill so keep in mind the walk back up.”

“Lovely, well kept apartment is plenty of space and beautiful views. Perfectly located within the complex for accessing the pool during the hot days. At night, only a short walk to the old town for a variety of restaurants and bars. Recommended.”

“We have been to this wonderful apartment many times now and it just gets better and better.
It is extremely well kitted out and is very clean. There was a great choice of DVD's for all to watch while keeping out of the midday sun. The views of the sea and the harbour from the huge balcony are magnificent. We spent many a great afternoon by the pool and the kids just loved playing on the pool table. The poolside bar owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. This is such a friendly complex we would recommend it to everyone. The biggest dilemma we had was deciding which of the many restaurants to eat in as they are all excellent.
We hired a car this time but it really is not necessary as everything is within walking distance, even for the kids.”

6th August 2009 by Robin & Eileen Coventry (STAYED IN MARCH 2009)

“This is our 3rd visit to the best holiday apartment we have ever rented. It was clean, extremely well kitted out and with magnificent views of the harbour and sea from the very large and secluded balcony. There must be at least 50 restaurants within 15 minutes walk and the beach and shops are close by. The swimming pool and pool bar are to be recommended with plenty of sunbeds and the apartment supplied sunbed cushions which could be used on the balcony or at the pool.
A car is not required although we did hire one for a few days to explore the island”

3rd August 2009 by Tim & Jill, Bristol (STAYED IN MAY 2009)

“My wife was absolutely delighted when we entered the apartment. The views, the decor, the equiptment and especially the huge balcony were all we could have hoped for. We enjoyed everything about our holiday on this friendly complex. The pool and pool bar were great and there were an abundance of first class restaurants nearby.
We would highly recommend this apartment to people of all ages”
