“*****5 star accomodation, with welcoming and accomodating host, josh. If you are family of four-six then this is the place to stay! Lovely bedrooms, kitchen etc, with the outside space being the real winner along with the heated pool which the kids loved. Hopefully we will return again soon!”

“A fantastic villa with everything available. Clean and tidy with excellent facilities. Lovely pool and private patio area. Close to supermarket, beach and lovely restaurants. Would recommend this little gem to friends and family and will definitely stay again in the future. We had a lovely relaxing holiday ... shame we had to come home!”

“We have just returned dfrom a weeks stay at Villa Rosa. What a beautiful, clean, well equipped villa! You could not ask for more and the location is fabulous. It is literally a minutes walk to a large super market and 5 minutes to the beach, bars and reastaurants. However, it is also in a quite , peaceful area. We will definately return to the villa again and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thanks for a great holiday Josh & Ros, hope to see you soon.”

“We booked for a week but ended up staying longer due to the volcanic ash crisis. Could not have hoped to have been stuck in a better place. Villa was excellent with all the facilities you could wish for and Josh was a source of much needed news re the ongoing situation. Nothing was too much trouble.
Highly recommend this villa and the resort of Costa Teguise ( just keep an eye on that volcano in Iceland.)”

“We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children (aged 7 and 4). We stayed at Villa Rosa for 1 week (25th March). All the arrangements were made and with good communication. Josh met us on arrival at the villa and gave us a tour. The villa is well-equipped and it was a god send that a welcome pack had been provided as we arrived around 9pm. The following morning the girls hit the pool which had been previously heated, which was lovely. The villa is quite sheltered so we did not feel the traditional breeze the island offers. The patio is fantastic and well equipped with a large table and chairs, 6 sun beds, a BBQ and washing line & pegs. There was a big box filled with inflattable toys for the pool (although this really needed a good sorting out as a lot of the toys in there were broken) and plenty of buckets and spades. There was also a bag which contained snorkle sets and flippers (most of the goggles were broken though). The villa itself is spacious, light and cool. All the windows had shutters which meant you could open the windows for ventilation without having open space, great if you have kids. The security was brilliant. The bedrooms have ceiling fans. We personally felt that the double bed in the master room was a little uncomfortable (hard) but for a week it was ok. The wardrobe space is spot on and had sufficient hangers. The only gripes we had were that the TV channels were poor - especially for kids programmes and the TV kept flicking (like it was on its way out). We also found that we couldn't use the bath in the first bathroom as the mixer tap didn't work, only the shower worked. Other things to consider would be a step-up stool for a bathroom as the girls found the sinks quite high when washing. A new can opener in the kitchen. If you have a late flight home like we did it is worth remembering that you may need to vacate the villa at 10am - whilst we were able to store our luggage at the villa till we departed, there is no facility to get washed and changed..... this can be a long day if you are having to wait around before leaving the resort.

The villa is ideally situated for the beach, 5 mins walk away, and restaurants. There is a great park at the top of the resort which has a bar and coffee shop just outside. We can recommend The Light House restaurant for a nice English breakfast (not greasy) and the The Grill adjacent to it for a lovely steak.

All in all we did enjoy our holiday at Villa Rosa and the weather was pretty good. I would recommend the Villa Rose, perhaps if staying for a week.”

Owner's response: We were quite disappointed with this review because we always ask our Guests to let us know if there is anything they are not happy with so that we can remedy the situation. We want people to come back and also to recommend us, so this makes sense.

The box of Inflatable toys for the pool are what previous Guests leave behind so it's a bit hit & miss with them but we were not aware of the broken goggles in the snorkle sets.

We apologise for your discomfort with the Double Bed but we have not received any complaints about it in the past and , lets face it, we can't accommodate everybody's different tastes in hard or sof beds.

We do explain at the "Meet & Greet" talk that the Satelite choice of programmes is limited because it is not SKY. Once again we were not made aware of the problem with the TV and it has now been replaced.

The people who followed these Guests in told us that there was an intermittant problem with water pressure in one of the Bathrooms, the first we knew of it. We immediately called in a Plumber who sorted it out very quickly.

We appreciate the comment regarding a stool in the bathrooms for children and have now provided these.

As we said earlier we want you to come back again, as an awful lot of our Guests do. However, unless we are made aware of problems then we cannot remedy them which is what we have now done.

“Fantastic accomodation and wonderful host, Josh did everything possible to make our stay perfect. The Villa itself was like home from home, the location etc was really impressive and as stated was only 5 mins walk to beach and shops etc. Would and have already recommended Villa Rosa to friends and family.”

“A fantastic, well equipped, ideally located villa that we returned to once again this year. Excellent for children, especially the private, heated pool. A real home from home that we plan to stay in again soon!”

“Have been coming to Costa Teguise in Jan/Feb for the last 21 years. This is our 3rd visit to Villa Rosa. Best property we've stayed in. Josh and Roz obviously take great pride in their property which is reflected in the cleanliness/standard of the villa. Both are marvellous hosts who, without being obtrusive, are always available and on hand to provide any assistance or advice you may require. The villa is also in a very convenient location with excellent retaurants and bars a short walk away.
We'll be back next year.”

“We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and welcoming Villa.
Josh was on hand to meet us and run us through the general workings of equipment (dish washer etc), before leaving us to it with a lovely gesture..... "Call me or Ros if you need ANYTHING".
The location, security and feel of the property is very much home-from-home and I can strongly recommend this Villa and also welcome anybody who wishes to ask me anything (rather than the owners), you can do this by emailing me on: amjohnson180@hotmail.com.

Thanks to Josh and Ros for allowing us to stay in Villa Rosa.”

“Our second stay at Villa Rosa, both at christmas time, Josh was brilliant as usual, any thing you need no matter when or where, josh is always available, villa was first class, pool got much use as weather was in the 80s, location is supurb, close to shops, pubs, restaurants & beach, but far enough away that you did not hear much noise, we will be consulting diary dates as we cant wait to go again, Deb, Paul, SAm , Todd & Scott, leamington spa, warwickshire”

“This was our 4th visit to Costa Teguise but 1st to Villa Rosa. An absolute gem of a property!! location is perfect only about 5 mins walk to centre and beach, facilities at Villa Rosa are superb, a real home from home feel. A very private villa with a fanastic pool that was enjoyed by all the family. Would highyl recommend this villa, which has frinedly and helpful hosts who were always at the end of a phone if we needed anything. Hopefully we will return there very soon”

“We have visited Lanzarote many, many times but only discovered Villa Rosa in 2008, we have been there twice now (so far). The villa is ideally situated for both the beach, shops and resturants. It is beautifully decorated throughout and very well equipped with modern appliances, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, iron & board, hairdryer, tv, cd player, dvd player - in fact everying you could possibly need. Bedrooms are large with ceiling fans and loads of storage for clothes. The patio and pool area is spacious and clean with plenty of chairs/loungers - it also gets sun all day. Having found this gem, we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when visiting Lanzarote.”

2nd October 2009 by Dave & Pam, Sheffield (STAYED IN SEPTEMBER 2009)

“Stayed in this villa twice already and are counting the days till we can go again. As villas go this is the yardstick against which others should be measured. The location and the standard of facilities is excellent and the hosts Josh and Ros are exceptional - wecoming, accomodating and helpful to a fault.
The only problem with this villa is that it will eventually be so popular we won't be able to book it!”

21st September 2009 by Chris & Tony, Gloucester (STAYED IN AUGUST 2009)

“By far the best villa we have stayed in, very clean & tidy, great location. Any problem large or small Josh & Ross are ready to help you. You don't get that in many villas. Very pleasant couple. Already booked for next year.
We have stayed in 6 villas in Lanzarote & we think this one's the best.”

21st August 2009 by Claire, Buckinghamshire (STAYED IN FEBRUARY 2008)

“This is a really fantastic Villa which had everything we needed (and more). Inside and outside it's equipped to a really high standard and having your own private pool and spacious, secluded patio area is a real bonus. Extra things for our two year old daughter made a big difference e.g. pushchair, paddling pool, beach toys. The Villa couldn't be in a better location either, with shops and restaurants literally just a couple of minutes away and the beach not much further. The owners were incredibly helpful and we plan to return to the Villa again some time soon.”

19th August 2009 by Paul -Middlesex (STAYED IN JULY 2009)

If you ever read this Josh thanks again for everything and hopefully see you again in 2010!”

“Villa Rosa was wonderful.and we had a great time. The pool was great even late in the evening it was warm. Couldnt keep the boys out of it. We would like to say bad things and keep the villa for us. But we had a lovely time and everything was excellent. We couldn't have wished for more. Can't wait to go back.”

5th August 2009 by Rosaleen, Glasgow (STAYED IN APRIL 2009)

The heated pool was a huge hit with our two young children - and the adults!! Josh was extremely helpful and the knowledge that he and Ros are just a phonecall away ensures a relaxing time for all. This was our second visit to the villa and we hope to be back very soon.”
