Located in Macher this charming, single storey villa is full of character and offers extremely spacious, private holiday accommodation.

It is ideally situated in a tranquil rural location, but is only a 5 minute drive from the attractions of Puerto Del Carmen, with its long stretches of golden sandy beaches, bars and restaurants.

The private, walled courtyard and large, heated pool make this villa ideal for guests who enjoy making the most of the Lanzarote sun (ideal for naturists).

The villa was originally an old farmhouse (Finca) which has been restored retaining many of the original features including the open courtyard making the villa into a U-shape (see photo from across pool).

Each of the three bedrooms has its own split stable door leading into the courtyard and all have en-suite facilities. The master bedroom (photo with double bed) is very spacious with a large bathroom and double vanity unit (photo with plant beyond bath). The other two bedrooms have twin beds (photo of each room plus one of the en-suite facilities).

On the opposite side of the courtyard is the main living area of the villa: kitchen/dining room and lounge. (In photo looking across the pool, the bedrooms are on the left and the kitchen and lounge on the right).

The large country-style kitchen/diner has pine furniture, and base wall units. It still retains the original window seat of the finca. Included in the kitchen are an electric oven with hob, microwave cooker, toaster, dishwasher and large fridge-freezer. A doorway from the kitchen leads into the lounge.

The lounge contains cane furniture (photo from french doors towards kitchen; other direction looks onto pool - also photo), a TV plus video/DVD player and CD/radio system. From the lounge there are french doors leading onto a spacious tiled, pergola covered area and beyond that is the swimming pool.

Patio table and chairs are provided as well as sun loungers around the swimming pool area. The villa also has a built-in barbeque.

About Macher, Lanzarote

Mácher is a 15-minute drive from the airport. It offers a quiet and peaceful holiday in a private situation. Mácher offers a number of restaurants and a supermarket and it has wonderful sea views. Just off the main Arrecife-Yaiza road, the village is centrally situated.

Owner's Tips

Within a 5-10 minute walk are Canarian Tapas bar with live music on Sundays. La Cabana, one of the finest resturants on the island. Bus stop for Tias and Puerto del Carmen. Only 90 cent
Petrol Station with a supermarket. Post Office (open 12 until 2). Take away with Spit Roast Chicken Salads and Fish Tapas. Excellent supermarket with fresh meat fish veg and bakery.
