About Villa Elena

This delightful villa is located in a quiet residential area within easy reach of Nerja’s safe sandy beaches. There is a supermarket and a couple of restaurants and cafe with 500m of the villa the centre of Nerja with its array of shops, restaurants and nightlife as well as the famous ‘Balco de Europa’ is 1.4km away.

The villa is constructed on three levels and comprises of an entrance hallway, with guest cloakroom, on ground level leading to a well furnished lounge / dining room having an open fireplace and patio doors to an outside covered terrace. There is a separate, modern kitchen having a dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, and a gas hob. Stairs from the hallway lead down to pool level where there are two double bedrooms, both having access to the gardens and pool area through patio doors. There is also a twin bedroom, a family bathroom and a laundry area with washing machine on this level. The master double bedroom on the upper floor benefits from a large private sun terrace with distant sea views. There is also a superb en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and separate shower cubical. Entertainment is provided by satellite TV (English), DVD player and a stereo system. The villa is tastefully furnished throughout and has central heating and air conditioning available in the main bedroom.

Outside, to the front of the house, there is a spacious open terrace giving way to well-kept lawns that surround the large 10m x 5m private pool. The gardens have been tastefully laid out and include well stocked borders and various trees. Patio furniture and a portable barbeque are provided to enjoy 'Alfresco' dining. In addition sun beds, parasols and a poolside shower are available for relaxing in the sun by the pool. Off road parking is available with lockable gates. This is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday within walking distance of the beautiful Burriana beach.

About Nerja, Costa del Sol

Another popular resort on the Costa del Sol, Nerja is situated to the east of Malaga. The fantastic beach with its golden sand is a huge bonus, and over the years this old fishing town has transformed into a lively holiday destination. You can visit the nearby caves that are a few kilometres outside the town, or see the famous “Balcon de Europa” in the historical part of the town.

As is common on the Costa del Sol, outside living is big. If you want to eat out every night, you can. There are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants offering both traditional and international cuisine. What better way to walk a meal off than by wandering round the narrow parts of the old town and imagining how it used to look years ago.

“Villa Elena is in a quiet spot away from the centre of town which means the views are beautiful but the walk into town is long. It's a great place with a lovely garden and pool area, though more shade provision would have been appreciated for the very hot days!

Our baby daughter used the travel cot provided but it could do with a replacement mattress as it was very thin and didn't look particularly comfortable. I have to say the bed my husband and I slept in was also quite uncomfortable. My sister in law and her husband had to resort to separate beds when sharing their small double became too cramped.

I probably wouldn't choose to stay here again in favour of a more modern property and would spend a little extra for more comfortable accommodation.”
