This large detached villa is ideally located on the 2nd line of the International Yacht Marina at Cala D’Or. The sandy beach ‘Es Pou’ and the selection of fine restaurants and shops along the edge of the Marina are within easy walking distance. Cala D’Or centre and the other beaches are just a few minutes drive away.

The main accommodation is on two levels with the ground floor entrance door leading to a hallway having a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom off. Four steps lead up to an open plan living room with American style kitchen having modern appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric oven and ceramic hob. There is a breakfast bar to the spacious living / dining room which has sliding glass doors to the covered poolside terrace. Entertainment is provided here by a satellite TV, DVD player and stereo system. There are a few more steps from the hallway to a double bedroom, which has an en-suite shower room and doors to the sun terrace. A staircase leads to the second floor which is given over entirely to the master bedroom suite having twin beds, an en-suite shower room and glass doors to a private balcony offering pool views and side views towards the yacht marina. A separate side entrance gives access to a self-contained studio unit (idea for teenagers or a Nanny). It has high windows, a twin bedroom and an en-suite bathroom room. All the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, bedside tables and air conditioning / central heating units (for a small extra charge).

Outside there is a spacious covered terrace with patio furniture and a barbeque to enjoy ‘Alfresco’ dining. This leads to the extensive sun terrace surrounding a 7m x 4m swimming pool with roman steps. Sun loungers and parasols are provided. Beyond the pool terrace there is an a good sized garden with lawns, flower beds and shrubs. This villa is in a convenient location to enjoy a stroll around the marina in the evening and sample the fine food in the International restaurants and local tapas bars

A 25% deposit is due when booking and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure. You can use either a credit or debit card, but there is a 2% charge with credit card payments.

The changeover days are fixed and cannot be changed.

About Cala d'Or, Majorca

Famous for being discovered by a group of artists in the 1930's, Cala d'Or is a lively area surrounded by pine-covered headlands and whitewashed buildings. In days gone by the harbour area was filled with boats bobbing on the waters, these days you are more likely to see the "chic" Cala d'Or marina surrounded by waterfront bars.

The nearby village of Porto Petro is a lot more traditional than Cala d'Or; it has a pretty port with many great fish restaurants serving the catch of the day. Not surprisingly, Cala d'Or has some of the best shops on Mallorca, with leather shops and chic boutiques where you can often find designer clothes at reasonable prices. If you find yourself with nothing to do on a Sunday, then go to Felanitx market where you can buy some local pottery and authentic local crafts.

Esmeralda Garden apartments in Cala d'Or and Las Rocas apartments are popular complexes, being located near to the beach and a good range of restaurants.
