This large detached villa is located within 200m of the Es Pou beach and close to the International Marina of Cala D’or where there is a good selection of fine restaurants and shops. The various other beaches and all amenities of this popular resort are just a few minutes drive away. A good local taxi service is available for those not wanting to drive.

The accommodation is constructed on three levels; at entrance level there is a twin bedroom, a family bathroom and the spacious lounge / dining room with balcony and an American style fitted kitchen having a range of modern appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric oven and hob. Entertainment is provided in the main living room by a TV, DVD player and stereo system. A staircase leads to the first floor where there are two twin bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room and both sharing a large balcony offering lovely views across the resort. There is also a family bathroom on this level. From here a second staircase gives access to a roof top solarium / terrace to catch the last of the sun in total privacy. On the lower level there are two twin bedrooms, a toilet, a large TV lounge / playroom with satellite TV incuding English channels and a utility room. Portable air conditioning is available to hire (subject to availability).

Outside, steps lead down to the sun terrace, which surrounds the 5m x 4m kidney shaped swimming pool. Sun loungers and parasols are provided and there is a poolside shower. To experience true ‘Alfresco’ dining the villa benefits from a brick built BBQ and patio furniture. To the side you will find pleasant ornamental gardens and an off road parking area.

A 25% deposit is due when booking and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure. You can use either a credit or debit card, but there is a 2% charge with credit card payments.

About Cala d'Or, Majorca

Famous for being discovered by a group of artists in the 1930's, Cala d'Or is a lively area surrounded by pine-covered headlands and whitewashed buildings. In days gone by the harbour area was filled with boats bobbing on the waters, these days you are more likely to see the "chic" Cala d'Or marina surrounded by waterfront bars.

The nearby village of Porto Petro is a lot more traditional than Cala d'Or; it has a pretty port with many great fish restaurants serving the catch of the day. Not surprisingly, Cala d'Or has some of the best shops on Mallorca, with leather shops and chic boutiques where you can often find designer clothes at reasonable prices. If you find yourself with nothing to do on a Sunday, then go to Felanitx market where you can buy some local pottery and authentic local crafts.

Esmeralda Garden apartments in Cala d'Or and Las Rocas apartments are popular complexes, being located near to the beach and a good range of restaurants.
