About Vista Mar In The Orba Valley

Vista Mar is a comfortable, detached, single-storey villa with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms situated in a private and quiet location on the outskirts of Orba village. The property has fabulous sea views down to the coast at Denia, hence its name.

Entrance to the property is by steps into the open plan dining/kitchen/lounge area with a large picture window in the dining bay to make the most of the wonderful views. Doors from here lead to a private terrace area with sunloungers. There are 4 bedrooms (2 Double and 2 Twin) plus 2 bathrooms. The villa has air-conditioning in the main living area and one of the double bedrooms. The pool terrace overlooks the 8 x 4 metre swimming pool and the surrounding gardens are attractively planted and well-maintained.

Vista Mar can also be rented exclusively as a 2 bedroom (sleeps 4) option with an under occupancy discount (this option is not available in August)

Bedroom 1 with double bed, fitted wardrobes, bedside tables. Bedroom 2 with twin beds, fitted wardrobes, bedside table. Bedroom 3 with bunk beds, fitted wardrobes. Bedroom 4 with double bed, fitted wardrobes, bedside tables, ensuite shower room. Bedroom 1 has air-conditioning. Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 have ceiling fans. Bathroom 1 (family bathroom) with bath, shower, WC, handbasin, situated adjacent to bedrooms 2 and 3. Shower room 2 with shower, WC, handbasin, ensuite to bedroom 4.

Spacious new fitted kitchen, well-equipped. Cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine. Open plan to lounge and dining area.

Lounge with comfortable sofas seating 6 persons, TV showing UK channels, DVD player, CD player/radio. Open plan to dining area with dining table and chairs to seat 6 persons and superb sea views. Air-con and fan. Doors from dining area to private terrace.

Pool terrace, 8 x 4 metre pool (0.75 metres shallow graduating to 1.8 metres at the deep end) with roman steps and underwater lighting, sunloungers, parasols, gas BBQ, outside dining for 8 persons. There is a second sun terrace accessed by doors from the dining room. Attractive, well-maintained gardens.

Off road parking is available in the villa's driveway. Smoking is not permitted inside the property, outside of course is fine. Cot and high chair is available. Welcome pack is provided with tea, coffee, milk, sugar, water, wine, toilet tissue, soap.

About Orba, Costa Blanca

Orba is situated at the head of the Orba Valley, which is renowned for its citrus fruits, thus making it green all year round. There are fiestas in the village in May and August. The surrounding villages have similar events from Easter onwards. These include paella days, fireworks, bull running, dancing in the streets, parades, music and a host of other activities.

This is a very beautiful part of the Mediterranean coastline with many sandy beaches and lots of sporting activities such as windsurfing, boating and golfing. Benidorm is a 30-minute drive away with its nightlife and many attractions. The beautiful old city of Valencia is a one-hour drive, and offers lots of cultural activities. There are also many famous beauty spots within easy reach.

Owner's Tips

We think this property is superbly located on the outskirts of Orba, and has the added bonus of being within 5 minutes walk of a very popular bar and restaurant with swimming pool and a further 5 minutes walk to 3 more bar/restaurants. The property is very comfortably furnished and is quietly situated and we love those sea views!

Orba village has a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops, within 5 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk. Jalon town with a superb choice of restaurants, bars, shops, coffee bars, internet cafes, is 15 minutes by car. Jalon Valley rustic restaurants are within a 10-minute drive radius offering excellent food with lots of choice at good prices. Good supermarkets/hypermarket at 10 minutes drive. 5 minutes walk from this villa is a very popular bar and restaurant with swimming pool for customer use. Great for the kids while mum and dad relax!

There are excellent beaches at Oliva and Denia within 20/25 minutes' drive.

Choice of 2 airports for this property - Valencia 1 hour by car, Alicante 75 minutes by car

I started my business Find The Real Spain from the successful and extremely enjoyable experience of renting my own property, La Terraza, in the Jalon Valley. Friends and neighbours here in Spain approached me to rent their properties for them and that´s how the business started! I have a portfolio of around 30 properties for holiday rental - individual, high-quality and all with private pools, in the areas of the Jalon Valley, inland Costa Blanca and inland Costa del Azahar (between Alicante and Valencia).

What we love about our business
I´ve always enjoyed travel, homes, gardens and sunshine so I guess this is the ultimate job for me! We offer a very "hands on" approach to our guests ensuring that they are met on arrival, shown around their holiday property, answer any questions they may have on arrival and we are always at the end of a phone for support if required during their stay (the holiday property information folder is comprehensive but there is always further information that can be helpful depending on the guests´ particular interests).

“We have just had the most amazing 3 weeks at this Villa. It is all you could ask for in a sunshine holiday.
Dawn & Stewart are fantastic! They could not have been kinder or more hospitable. The Villa is very private and surrounded by Mountains. The view to the orba valley is truly breathtaking with the bonus of the Mediterranean Sea in the distance. The Pool is simply fantastic! The local village has great food with even greater prices. You will need to hire a car as we found out but Stewart & Dawn were there for us whenever we needed shopping or just a lift down to the village. We got a great discount also as we only used 2 of the Bedrooms. I would highly recommend this Villa.
Thanks again Dawn & Stewart for making this holiday so special and also for all the taxiing around you did for us. Look forward to seeing you both again.”

“Stuart & Dawn could not have been more helpful. They were anxious to ensure that we all anjoyed our holiday. There is one thing I would suggest that I forgot to tell Stuart and that is that when we sat out in the late evening it was too dark to play cards etc and it would have helped had there been a more powerful light located near to the area where the tables/ BBQ are situated. This is a very minor point and did not prevent us from having a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable holiday in a villa which had all we needed. Whilst having a car is a must we would highly recommend Vista Mar.”
