About Casa Exte Zarra
This traditional detached Menorcian villa benefits from views over Cala Galdana and the river flowing down to the sea. All the amenities of this popular resort are within walking distance.
The accommodation, which is all on one level comprises of an entrance hall leading to one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and two family bathrooms. There is a spacious living / dining room with open fireplace and serving hatch to the newly fitted separate kitchen, which benefits from all modern appliances. For 2011 the villa has another new double bedroom and bathroom making the villa now a 4 bedroom in total. In addition there is a light and airy sun lounge off the main living area, which gives the opportunity to enjoy the sun indoors. Entertainment is provided by a Satellite TV, DVD Player and a stereo system.
Outside, to the front of the villa the sun terraces surround a 7m x 4m swimming pool, which has roman steps to give easy access for children and the elderly. A number of trees in the mature gardens offer natural shade. Sun beds, parasols and patio furniture are provided with a brick built BBQ to the rear of the house adding to the many features of this pleasant villa. Located in a quiet street, there is ample parking as well as off road parking on the drive.

A 25% deposit is due when booking and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure. You can use either a credit or debit card, but there is a 2% charge with credit card payments.
The changeover days are fixed and cannot be changed.

About Cala Santa Galdana, Menorca
At one time, not long ago, there wasn’t even a road here, although that’s hard to believe now as this thriving resort seems to have it all. Staying in Cala Santa Galdana combines excellent facilities in a fantastic setting. The curved beach with its golden sand and clear blue water, is sheltered by large cliffs that generally help the weather reach higher temperatures. Watersports are very popular in Menorca due to the clear water in the bays and there are some famous shipwrecks to be seen as well as marine life. Cala Santa Galdana has a dive centre that you can try out. Diving can be expensive, however the cost normally includes equipment and training.

“We had a great week in Menorca and enjoyed staying at Casa Exte Zarra. It was a functional yet comfortable villa and had all we needed. The grounds are quite private and well shaded by some mature olive and pine trees. The pool is well looked after. For the price it was extremely good value.
The villa is also very well located, with great views of the gorge and evening sunlight from the back garden and views of the bay from the end of the quiet cul-de-sac on which it's situated. We had a car, which is probably an essential for families with small kids because the steps to the beach and shops are very steep and uneven. It takes about four minutes to walk down to the beach but the return journey is a different proposition. In a car it takes two minutes and there's plenty of free parking just behind the beach. A series of pleasant new boardwalks and bridges beside the river link the car park with all the amenities.
Cala Galdana itself, for anyone who hasn't been before, is a great location for kids. It's beach seems very safe, with white, gently sloping sand and turquoise sea. It's only a bit spoiled by virtue of a big 70's hotel which dominates one side of the bay. Overall, though, the development is relatively minor. We were there at the start of May when the shops and bars were very quiet - which was good. Not sure what it would be like in full season. A gorge runs from the island's interior all the way to the beach. For anyone interested in nature, it's great for walks, teeming with wildlife. There are some idyllic bays within a relatively short walk around the coast in either direction. If you can, explore the rest of the island. The north, in particular, is very unspoiled and the countryside and coastal scenery is great.”
