This magnificent, fully refurbished and modernised villa is situated in an enviable position overlooking the coast and the resort of Cala Galdana. The views from the rear terrace, gardens and pool area are simply breathtaking. It stands in a very large plot and benefits from a semi-circular drive with two sets of gates to drive in and out. With the beach, shops and restaurants just 600m away, it is in a very convenient location.

The accommodation, which was fully refurbished during the winter months, is all on one level and comprises of an entrance hallway with occasional sitting room/games room to one side, the main lounge / dining room ahead with three sets of double patio doors to maximise the wonderful views, an open fireplace and doorway to a large breakfast kitchen having modern stainless steel appliances. There is a laundry room with washing machine and a separate bathroom with disabled facilities off. From the hallway there is one double bedroom and three twin bedrooms, one with patio doors to the rear gardens and pool area. Adjacent to the bedrooms is a family bathroom and a separate shower room. The villa is furnished to a high standard and well equipped throughout, benefiting from full air conditioning (extra charge). Entertainment is provided by digital satellite TV, DVD player and a stereo system.

Outside, to the rear of the house, the three sets of patio doors from the lounge give access to an extensive covered terrace leading to lawns and mature gardens that surround the 8m x 4m swimming pool, with roman steps and a pool side shower. The villa stands in a large plot; to the front of the house there are extensive woodland grounds with trees and shrubs and an ‘in and out’ driveway. There is off road parking for at least five cars. With safety in mind, the pool area has been gated off, however due to the nature of the location children must be supervised at all times.

A 25% deposit is due when booking and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure. You can use either a credit or debit card, but there is a 2% charge with credit card payments.

At one time, not long ago, there wasn’t even a road here, although that’s hard to believe now as this thriving resort seems to have it all. Staying in Cala Santa Galdana combines excellent facilities in a fantastic setting. The curved beach with its golden sand and clear blue water, is sheltered by large cliffs that generally help the weather reach higher temperatures. Watersports are very popular in Menorca due to the clear water in the bays and there are some famous shipwrecks to be seen as well as marine life. Cala Santa Galdana has a dive centre that you can try out. Diving can be expensive, however the cost normally includes equipment and training.
