Cortijo Azahar, shelterered by a range of hills, is a Spanish Farmhouse Cortijo equipped to a high and comfortable standard. Built in the traditional Andalucian style it features cooling fans, cool tiled floors throughout and wooden window shutters all with mosquito nets.

The letting accommodation is on the ground floor set in lush sub-tropical gardens with a large swimming pool and is completely private and self contained. Sleeping 7, there are two bedrooms in-house and a self contained luxury en-suite poolside bedroom. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped and the sitting room has wifi internet access.

About Motril, Costa Tropical

This is the largest town in the Costa Tropical and is a great place to stay if you wish to explore the inland areas within Andalucia as well as the coast. It takes a little over an hour to reach by car from Malaga airport.

Large quantities of fruits and flowers are grown in this area, making it quite a commercial area and there are roughly 50,000 people live there. It’s not overly brimming with things to do for tourists, however it’s great for shopping, eating and drinking. Many visitors head for Playa de Poniente to relax by the beach.
