This impressive five-bedroom villa with its grand exterior is conveniently located within easy reach of the resort of Cala Blanca where there is a good choice of shops, restaurants and bars. The safe, sandy beach is just 500m away from the villa. There are also numerous shops, restaurants and bars within 300m of this lovely villa. The nearby town of Cuidadella, once the capital of Menorca, is well worth a visit. There is much to see here and many fine restaurants along its beautiful port.

The extensive accommodation, which is on two levels, comprises on the ground floor of a hallway leading through double doors to a spacious living room having separate dining a lounge areas, typical of Spain. In this room, entertainment is provided by way of a satellite TV, offering limited English channels, a DVD player and a music system. There is seating for eight people in the dining area and comfortable sofas (renewed for 2010) in the lounge area. The separate fitted breakfast kitchen benefits from a range of appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric oven, hob and extractor unit. The hallway gives access to a double bedroom, having patio doors to the terrace, a twin bedroom and two single bedrooms. All these bedrooms have free-standing or fitted wardrobes, bedside tables with lights and free standing fans. In addition there are two family bathrooms on this level.

Exterior stairs lead up to a self-contained apartment which is idea for teenagers or grand parents. The accommodation here consists of a living room with dining facilities and easy chairs, an open plan kitchenette with microwave and fridge, a double bedroom with free standing fan and a full bathroom.

Double doors from the living room give access to a large covered terrace that extends to the open sun terrace surrounding the large 9.5m x 5.5m rectangular pool, which has a ladder and roman steps for easy access. Sun beds and a parasol are provided to relax by the pool and soak up the sun. There is a well equipped covered outdoor BBQ with double sink, storage cabinets, a gas hob and a brick built barbecue to enjoy true ‘Al fresco’ dining using the lovely patio furniture supplied. The well maintained ornamental gardens and lawns have natural shading from mature pine trees. The grounds are surrounded by hedging and have lockable gates to give good privacy and security. Off road parking is available both at the from and the rear of the villa.

About Cala Blanca, Menorca

Cala Blanca is an intimate resort and lies just South of the neighbouring resort of Cala Santandria, approximately 3km from Cuitadella. The resort has excellent family facilities with a good, fine sand cove beach offering safe bathing in the clear blue sea, and sun bed and parasol hire along with pedaloes for the chlidren. There are snack bar/restaurants adjacent to the beach as well as a small water slide. The resort is well served with many restaurants to choose from and good shopping facilities. Just south of Cala Blanca is the fashionable resort of Cala'n bosch with its Marina -well worth a visit to stroll round in the evening.
