About Las Artes Number 6

This delightful airconditioned apartment is on the first floor of a small building of only ten apartments with lift, ideally located just seconds from Puerto Mogan's golden sandy beach and all amenities. It has been carefully decorated to provide real home-from-home comforts which include a fully equipped kitchen, spacious sitting room with flat-screen TV and DVD player and the benefit of a large private terrace with plants, table and six chairs, two sunloungers, music centre and a gas barbecue to allow guests to enjoy al fresco wining and dining to the full.

The twin bedroom has a little back patio for extra ventilation with some pretty plants and flowers and also off this bedroom is the en-suite full bathroom in addition to which there is also a guest toilet with hand wash basin. In the sitting room is a sofa which easily turns into a double sofa bed making the property ideal for families as well as couples. The apartment has a washing machine and there is a separate area with lines for drying clothes - iron and ironing board are also provided.

About Puerto Mogan, Gran Canaria

This tasteful resort on the sheltered southwest corner of Gran Canaria enjoys a glorious year-round climate and is perfect for those seeking a peaceful sunny holiday. Puerto Mogan is a delightful combination of the original whitewashed fishing village nestling on the hillside which overlooks both the golden sandy beach and marina harbour below.

Nicknamed “Little Venice”, the resort has been carefully designed with a maximum of three levels to maintain its unique ambience. Behind the marina harbour, where yachts from the world over are moored, is a charming network of walkways and canals overhung with colourful tropical flowers and plants.

There is a wide choice of excellent restaurants, cafés and bars in Puerto Mogan, many overlooking either the beach or the harbour, and also a variety of shops, boutiques and a good supermarket.

Activities generally revolve around the water and apart from swimming and sunbathing include diving, fishing and yacht trips. You can take the glass-bottomed ferry to Puerto Rico and Arguineguin, although there is also a good local bus service and taxis are on hand at reasonable rates. There are also two major golf courses within easy reach of Puerto Mogan.

Owner's Tips

Puerto Mogan has an excellent range of restaurants and cafés most of which overlook either the beach or the marina harbour and are all within a few minutes stroll from the apartment. There are also some delightful shops and boutiques to browse around.

Activities in our resort revolve mainly around the water and include snorkelling, diving, boat and fishing trips and of course sunbathing and swimming. The unparalleled year-round climate means that holiday-makers come to Puerto Mogan primarily to relax and unwind in the marvellous sunshine during the day and wine and dine the mild evenings away. There are some late night bars with occasional music but nothing too loud or intrusive; we also have periodic jazz festivals.

A further word about our amazing weather. Puerto Mogan, ideally positioned in a sheltered valley is blessed with one of the finest year-round climates in Europe. In the winter months the days are wonderfully sunny with temperatures in the high seventies and early eighties. Yet it would be wrong to underestimate our great summers. Far from being too hot for comfort although the temperatures are of course higher, the heat is dry, not humid and whilst you are topping up your sun-tan you are cooled by the lovely light sea breezes. The long summer evenings are pleasantly warm and perfect for lazy relaxation on a terrace over a chilled jug of sangria or a couple of bottles of white wine. All in all we are a perfect holiday destination at any time of the year!

Everyone you need for a perfect holiday is on hand and a car is not needed unless you wish to explore the rest of Gran Canaria during your stay.
