Our lovely apartment sleeps up to 4 people - one twin bedroom and a sofa bed in lounge. The lounge is fully furnished with TV (Spanish digital only), video player with a range of English videos but guests are welcome to bring their own) and a music system. The fully fitted kitchen includes a full size oven, hob, large fridge, microwave and a washing machine. The bathroom has a bath and shower. Outside the apartment we have a terrace area which is furnished with table and chairs.

On arrival you will find a small 'Welcome Pack' waiting for you - this includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water and, most important of all, a bottle of wine.

The pools are accessed by key, making this a lovely safe environment for children. A lifeguard is on duty at specific hours marked clearly on the entrance gate. There are free sunbeds around the pool and some shaded areas.This gated community has no through traffic and is therefore very safe for young children.

Oury apartments are situated just a few minutes stroll from the beautiful beach in Pueblo Laguna on the Costa de Almeria in the South East of Spain, between the Costa Blanca and the Costa del Sol. It is one of the warmest, driest regions of Spain with over 320 days of sunshine a year and has a unique landscape of wide open plains, imposing mountain ranges and excellent beaches. This unspoilt area has numerous restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets all close by. The area is steeped in Andalucian tradition just waiting to be explored, with the historic villages of Mojácar, Garrucha, Vera, Turre and Los Gallardos close by.

These prices are for the apartment, not per person.

Unlike some advertisers, all of our prices include final cleaning costs, bed linen and towels for up to 4 guests.

If you require a change of bed linen and towels during your stay there is a small charge of 25 euros payable directly with our manager.

We request a deposit of between £100/£150 at the time of booking with the balance in full to be paid 8 weeks before departure.

We are as flexible as possible. Departure and arrival times depend on other bookings. If the apartment is not being used by the next guest on your day of departure we are happy for you to stay on if you have a late flight at no extra charge! Likewise, arrival may be possible before 4 pm once our manager has completed the preparations for your stay.

Owner's Tips

Our apartment is located in a tranquil part of Spain and is perfect for a relaxing holiday either by making use of the fabulous swimming pools and the wide, sandy beach or for exploring some of the lovely Spanish towns and villages close by. The wide, sandy beach is never crowded, even in August! On the way to the beach you will find one of three local supermarkets serving most things to suit your needs. There are numerous bars, restaurants and take- aways all within a few minutes walk to suit all tastes.

Almeria is an area steeped in Andalucian tradition - Pueblo Laguna is close to the historic villages of Mojacar, Garrucha, Turre, Vera and Los Gallardos, many of which have weekly markets to visit. The fishing village of Garrucha, with its many restaurants, bars, shops and a weekly market, is a lovely twenty minute stroll along the promenade from the apartments. You can relax in one of the many fresh fish restaurants and watch the local fishermen as they arrive with their daily catch. Boat and fishing trips are available from the port.

Just along the coast from Garrucha is Mojacar Beach where you will find more wide, sandy beaches, some with watersports, and a wide selection of restaurants, bars and shops. A drive up into the mountains brings you to the typically Andalucian Mojacar Village - a picturesque village with its narrow streets and architecture reflecting the Moorish influence over the centuries. There are shops selling antiques and jewellery, numerous restaurants and tapas bars. Many other towns and villages are well worth a drive through the stunning mountain scenery.

Almost the entire coast between Mojacar and Almeria is covered by the Cabo de Gata National Park - an extensive area of sand dunes, wetlands and salt marshes - an excellent place for nature lovers and so unspoilt.

Meet the owners...

About us
We live in Southend on Sea in Essex and discovered the Costa de Almeria back in 2000 on a family holiday. We have two children, now aged 23 and 20 and have enjoyed some great times on holiday in our apartments. We returned to the area in 2001 with a thought of buying an apartment on the Vera Coast development and were lucky to find one in a lovely position close to the pool. It's a decision we have never regretted and we love returning to the area as often as we can and are still discovering new beaches and exploring the whole area.

What we love about our property
Vera Coast is where we first rented a holiday home ourselves back in 2000 and fell in love with the complex and the area. It was so different from our previous holidays which had been in more commercialised areas. Vera Coast is always immaculately well tended with beautiful swimming pools and is just a short stroll to the beach.
