About Los Arcos In The Jalon Valley

Los Arcos is a luxury spacious country house set within 2 acres of private land with a large pool and courtyard, landscaped gardens and magnificent views. The gardens within the land are walled and gated and level.

The villa has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus cloakroom, air-conditioning in 3 bedrooms plus lounge and kitchen areas and UK satellite TV. Los Arcos is well-proportioned and spacious, well-equipped and well furnished with terraces from the living accommodation and both of the upper floor bedrooms.

Outside, the villa has a large 10 x 5 metre swimming pool with roman steps and underwater lighting set in an enormous courtyard. There is a covered BBQ area plus poolside shower room/WC. The naya covered terrace is located adjacent to the pool and has doors to the living accommodation and kitchen areas. Los Arcos is also available for rental with an Under Occupancy discount for smaller groups or couples seeking an exclusive property (see rental rates for further details).

Los Arcos is situated just a few minutes drive from the charming and traditional Spanish village of Murla. The villages of the Jalon Valley with their excellent country restaurants and all amenities are within a 10 minute drive radius. The sandy beaches and resorts of Calpe, Moraira, Javea and Denia are 25 minutes by car. The property is totally private and the 2 acre plot is surrounded by tree-covered hills and fields of olives and almonds.

Bedroom 1 with king-size bed (5 foot) and air-conditioning. Bedroom 2 with twin beds and air-conditioning. Bedroom 3 with king-size bed (5 foot) and air-conditioning. Bedroom 4 with twin beds and high power fan. Bedrooms 1 and 2 are on the upper floor and have access to a wraparound terrace (lockable doors). Bedrooms 3 and 4 are on the lower floor. All bedrooms are spacious and have fitted wardrobes and bedside furniture. Full bathroom with bath, shower, WC, ensuite to bedroom 1 on the upper floor. Shower room with shower, WC, ensuite to bedroom 2 on the upper floor. Full bathroom with bath, shower, WC, adjacent to bedrooms 3 and 4 on the lower floor. Cloakroom with WC in the entrance hallway on the lower floor. Shower room with shower, WC, adjacent to the courtyard pool terrace.

Quality fitted kitchen with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooker and hob, microwave oven, air-conditioning. Separate utility room next door to the kitchen with sink and washing machine, iron/ironing board.

Large open-plan living area with beamed ceilings, UK Satellite TV, DVD, hi-fi, air-conditioning. Lounge area has sofas and seating for 8 persons. Dining area has dining table and chairs for 8 persons.

Front entrance hallway with staircase to upper floor and cloakroom.

Access to the courtyard pool terrace is from the living accommodation. Swimming pool 10 x 5 metres (graduated 1 to 2 metres), roman steps, underwater lighting. Large covered BBQ area poolside, dining furniture on shaded naya terrace, sun loungers, poolside shower and WC, gated level and totally private gardens within 2 acre plot. Secure off-road parking for several cars.

Any arrival / departure day is possible, subject to fitting in with the diary.

Quality towels, pool/beachtowels and linen are included and changed weekly for stays of 2 weeks plus. The owners will meet you on arrival and show you around. The owners provide a shopping service prior to your arrival.

Security damages deposit £200 refundable within 10 working days of departure. Earliest check in time is 4pm (earlier if at all possible) and latest check out time is 10am.

Los Arcos is a stunning house and a individual architect-designed property with well-proportioned and light-filled interiors in a beautiful location. We particularly love the courtyard pool terrace, wonderful views and tranquillity of Los Arcos. And, one of our favourite restaurants, El Nou Portet, is located on the Alcalali / Orba road, just 5 minutes drive from Los Arcos!

The sleepy village of Murla is a few minutes drive from Los Arcos and has a bakery, a few small shops and a small produce market on Mondays. Jalon and Orba (10 minutes drive) are small towns with all amenities - shops and supermarkets, bars, restaurants, internet, bank facilities, weekly markets, wineries. Jalon Valley villages are all within a 10 minute drive radius of Los Arcos and all have excellent bars and restaurants serving great food for all budgets and tastes.

About us
I started my business Find The Real Spain from the successful and extremely enjoyable experience of renting my own property, La Terraza, in the Jalon Valley. Friends and neighbours here in Spain approached me to rent their properties for them and that´s how the business started! I have a portfolio of around 30 properties for holiday rental - individual, high-quality and all with private pools, in the areas of the Jalon Valley, inland Costa Blanca and inland Costa del Azahar (between Alicante and Valencia).

What we love about our business
I´ve always enjoyed travel, homes, gardens and sunshine so I guess this is the ultimate job for me! We offer a very "hands on" approach to our guests ensuring that they are met on arrival, shown around their holiday property, answer any questions they may have on arrival and we are always at the end of a phone for support if required during their stay (the holiday property information folder is comprehensive but there is always further information that can be helpful depending on the guests´ particular interests).

Owner's response: Thank you for your feedback, P. The owners tell me that all the aircon units run on the same remote controls and that there are 4 remote control handsets at the property. They also advise that there is a 2.4 metre satellite dish at the property which enables the UK terrestrial channels to be received. The strongest channels for BBC1, BBC2, ITV, C4 and C5 may not always be found at channel 101 through to 105. They will in future provide a list for guests of alternative channels where the UK terrestrial channels can be found at a good signal strength if 101 through to 105 are not the strongest source for these channels. The owners are sorry that you did not contact them during your stay as both of these issues could have been easily remedied by them over the telephone.

“A lovely villa set in a beautiful location with stunning views of the mountains especially from the upper terraces. It would have been nice to have had a table and chairs to sit on up there to escape from the younger family members!
We chose the villa because of its isolation and freedom from neighbours, while being able to still access restaurants etc. The villa had a few excellent restaurants within 5/10 minutes drive of the villa. Our favourite being El Nou Portet just outside Murla on the road to Orba.”
