A lovely semi detached, south facing bungalow in a quiet location, only a short walk from Flamingo beach, the town, the ferry to Fuerteventura and the harbour. In this central location a car is not a necessity, with the taxi rank and the bus stop only a short stroll.

This bungalow (refurbished for September 2008), is tucked away in the north-west corner of the small and peaceful complex of Jardin del Sol. There are only 34 bungalows with mature gardens, communal pool, sun terraces and spectacular mountain views.

The lounge is comfortably furnished with a double sofa bed, easy chairs, coffee tables, dining table and chairs. They are both equipped with satellite TV, CD and DVD players. Some books and games are provided for your entertainment.

The self-contained open plan kitchen has a washing machine, fridge, hobs, microwave and ample storage space. The bungalow is equipped with ironing board, iron, toaster, electric kettle, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.

The twin bedroom has a fitted wardrobe and drawer space. A safe is located in the bedroom. The fully tiled bathroom has a walk-in shower, vanity unit with storage space and WC.

Other items supplied includes hairdryer, clothes airer and cleaning equipment, bed linen and towels. A welcome pack is included consisting of water, milk, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits.

The bungalow has a small private garden to the front, with a terrace, sun loungers, table, chairs and parasol. A wonderful place to sit and relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Bungalow is close to the communal pools and sun terraces.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
