Bearing in mind the population triples in the peak times of the year, Estepona is a classic example of how you can welcome tourism without spoiling a town. Estepona is a charming old town with narrow twisty streets of two storey whitewashed houses, a great range of shops and pleasant plazas to sit and enjoy a drink or meal. It remains a very Spanish town with almost no English pubs or souvenir shops.
On the waterfront Estepona Marina has a fantastic range of boats to admire, with plenty of cafes and restaurants to lounge in. There are three beaches to choose from, all of which offer a good range of watersports.
In the town there are four museums and many archaeological sites to see and as well as colourful parks and gardens. Wonderful parades and celebrations take place particularly January 5th; early May; July Feria; August 15th & New Years Eve. Estepona is a truly delightful place to stay and enjoy "real" Spain.
This apartment is situated right in the heart of the lovely seaside town of Estepona. In addition it overlooks the Paseo Maritimo,( promenade )and the beach so you could not wish for a better position for a holiday on the Costa del Sol.
Originally a fishing village Estepona has adapted well to tourism and is now a beautiful flower bedecked town with pretty plazas, cobbled back streets and a host of pavement cafés. However it still manages to retain its original Spanish flavour.
There are plenty of places of interest to visit when staying on this end of the Costa del Sol. Such as Selwo Wildlife Park or the historic Rock of Gibraltar The cosmopolitan resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus are also close by.Inland you have a variety of pretty white villages and some lovely countryside to explore.
About us
My name is Ruth Polak and I live with my family near to the village of Casares in the mountains of Andalucia. We bought a run down Finca of 30,000 sq m. of land in 1992 and my husband, being a builder, renovated and built the house up.
I began renting an apartment on our Finca and our house in the village of Casares about 6 years ago and since then I have taken on other peoples villas and apartments to rent for them.
I thoroughly enjoy helping people to organize their holidays and using my knowledge of the area to help them to get the most out of their holiday on the Costa del Sol. I also work closely with my owners to ensure that their properties offer holiday makers good quality accommodation at reasonable prices.
What we love about our property
I hand pick all of the properties I represent to ensure that they offer good quality and value for money and hope that you have a very enjoyable holiday on the Costa del Sol.
Year we bought the property: 1992

Apartamentos Mirasol from 1 review...

(STAYED IN MAY 2010)
“Very good location, great view of sea, good balcony and reasonable price. Comprehensive store nearby. The apartment was well equipped (washer, cooking utensils, microwave, iron, hair dryer, etc). But there are a couple of recommended improvements - mosquitos! There were no screens on the balcony sliding door or on the bedroom window so every night we got bitten by mosquitos - so we recommend installing screens. The bed pillows were thin and hard. If you rent a car, there is no guaranteed free street parking - be sure to get "long term" parking pass in nearby car park - it is much cheaper than daily rate. Overall, we had a good 11 day vacation and this was a good location from which to travel around Andalucia.”
