In addition of course there is a lovely sandy beach right on your doorstep and Estepona Port has many diversions to entertain the holiday maker. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants offering an excellent choice of international cuisine. Bearing in mind the population triples in the peak times of the year, Estepona is a classic example of how you can welcome tourism without spoiling a town. Estepona is a charming old town with narrow twisty streets of two storey whitewashed houses, a great range of shops and pleasant plazas to sit and enjoy a drink or meal. It remains a very Spanish town with almost no English pubs or souvenir shops.
On the waterfront Estepona Marina has a fantastic range of boats to admire, with plenty of cafes and restaurants to lounge in. There are three beaches to choose from, all of which offer a good range of watersports.
In the town there are four museums and many archaeological sites to see and as well as colourful parks and gardens. Wonderful parades and celebrations take place particularly January 5th; early May; July Feria; August 15th & New Years Eve. Estepona is a truly delightful place to stay and enjoy "real" Spain.
The beautiful seaside town of Estepona is within walking distance, about 10-15 minutes, and here you will find lovely clean beaches, good shopping, first class restaurants and plenty of bars. It is a very pretty town with where you can still find many traces of its fishing village heritage with cobbled back streets and flower bedecked plazas.
Selwo Wildlife Park is to hand and offers an excellent outing for all the family. Also within easy reach are the cosmopolitan resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus as well as the Historic Rock of Gibraltar. The golfer of course is well catered for with any number of first class golf courses very close by.
About us
My name is Ruth Polak and I live with my family near to the village of Casares in the mountains of Andalucia. We bought a run down Finca of 30,000 sq m. of land in 1992 and my husband, being a builder, renovated and built the house up.
I began renting an apartment on our Finca and our house in the village of Casares about 6 years ago and since then I have taken on other peoples villas and apartments to rent for them.
I thoroughly enjoy helping people to organize their holidays and using my knowledge of the area to help them to get the most out of their holiday on the Costa del Sol. I also work closely with my owners to ensure that their properties offer holiday makers good quality accommodation at reasonable prices.
What we love about our property
I hand pick all of the properties I represent to ensure that they offer good quality and value for money and hope that you have a very enjoyable holiday on the Costa del Sol.
Year we bought the property: 1992

Estepona Port Apartment from 1 review...
26th April 2011 by Holly, London
(STAYED IN JULY 2009)
“The apartment really is lovely, we felt relaxed and comfortable from the moment we got there. Nice comfy lounge, kitchen stocked with everything you need for cooking, clean bathroom with shower and comfy beds. Its got a great view of the marina from the balcony so makes it a lovely place to eat breakfast or dinner, and even when it was 40 degrees outside it was pretty cool in the apartment once we opened the windows. We would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends. Estopona itself is also lovely, the marina has lots of bars and resturants and you can easily walk through the port to a huge beach. You can walk to the older part of the town too where you will find nice shops and resturants, my only regret is we didn't find the older part of town sooner. Marbella and Gibraltar are both really close for day trips.”
