About the property
Villa Salamanda is the home of a German and British couple who spend 3 months of the year here in their second home, and combines the very finest in both fixtures and fittings from both countries along with quite a strong Spanish / Italian influence as well. A truly international villa.
Here are some of the key features the property has to offer.
The kitchen has all items you would find in the latest showroom, including such features as touch lights over the breakfast bar and induction hob. In the corner there is a very large American fridge freezer providing you with cold water and an excellent ice maker. The water supply to the kitchen has a filtration system for incoming water which makes it safe to drink from the tap.
The lounge comprises of Italian made leather furniture a flat screen TV, DVD and stereo system. Should it be necessary this area is air conditioned for the warmer months, although the well ventilated design eliminates the need for a lot of artificial cooling.
The conservatory has a large Spanish designed mosaic table with matching chairs for 4 and two easy chairs to sit and take in the ambiance of such a stunning 180 degree view, including Fuerteventura, which some days seems astoundingly close.
The bedrooms both lead off the central court yard, which is perfect for total privacy and a late night drink to sit and watch the stars in the fabulous clear night skies the island enjoys. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with walk in showers and double hand basins.
There is a totally private heated swimming pool with a mosaic tiled floor for optimum lighting effect - especially at night.
Set at the side of this is a Bodega comprising of your own bar, fridge, dishwasher and sink. Next to this is another room with both shower and toilet facilities. Across the patio is an open aired glass built shower. The whole area is not overlooked by anyone at any point in this beautiful property.

Home services such as massage, reflexology, private trips and car delivery to the villa can all be arranged, including exclusive airport transfers both ways.

Rates shown are for 2 persons: Please add £150.00 per person per week extra up to a maximum of 4 adults.
The pool is solar heated all year, and during the summer months, this will be sufficient for swimming in the pool and is included in the prices shown. However during what can be the cooler months. November to end March, we would recommend the electric heating system is switched on, to guarantee 27/28C at all times, which costs an extra £75.00 a week. It is possible to use this additional system all year, if required.
A deposit of £200 per week (non-refundable) is payable on confirmation of booking. The balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. Children under 2 are our guests, so there is no charge.
As a condition of booking we will require a copy of your holiday insurance. This can be faxed or emailed
Bookings are normally from Thursday 3.00 PM to Thursday 10.00 am. Other transit days will be considered based on availability, please ask.
Early arrivals are not a problem, please tell us what your times are, and we will do our best to accommodate you whilst the villa is being prepared. Up till 10.00am thought is still the previous guest’s holiday.
Rates shown can be subject to change, existing bookings taken where prices increase will be honoured.
A welcome pack consisting, of tea, water, sugar, coffee, milk, biscuits, wine/cava is included in the above prices. We are happy to provide additional food for your holiday, please let us have your list, and you can pay us for this on your arrival.
High chairs, cots and child seats are available for hire at 20 Euros a week, per item. Car hire can arranged, please ask for details.
Please note for 10 day holidays, extra towels will be provided at the beginning of your holiday, but no mid term clean or linen change will be provided, unless specifically requested and paid for separately, in which case please let us know how we can best assist you.
A Playstation 2 is also available for hire at 30 euros per week (subject to availability). However you must bring your own games and memory cards.
About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
