About the property
Casa El Rincon is easily reached in 20 minutes from the airport by car. The villa is situated in a beautiful setting in the heart of Yaiza which is one of the main attractions in Lanzarote as it has won many awards in Spain for the most attractive and well kept village in Spain. There are many local amenities such as restaurants, tapas bars, bank and supermarket. The villa is set in its own tranquil grounds with spectacular views looking out onto Timanfaya National Park.
Casa El Rincon is nestled in the heart of the village and is also situated in the middle of two of the most popular resorts in Lanzarote, 15 minutes drive to Playa Blanca and the same to Puerto Del Carmen so by day time you have the tranquility of a peaceful setting but by night you can either stroll locally for a bite to eat or head out to the other Resorts for a night out.
The large private driveway leads you to the main entrance of the villa. Once in the property grounds there are beautiful mature gardens planted with tropical plants. You have the benefit of 2 BBQs depending on where in the grounds you wish to entertain. On the patio for the sporty ones amongst the family you will find a table tennis table.
The major benefit of this villa is obviously the large 10 x 5m pool surrounded by large terraces with comfy sun loungers for relaxing.
From the entrance hall with comfy chill out seating area you will find the large kitchen/dining room with patio doors leading to a sun terrace. From here you can view the childrens play park which is just across the way so you can safely watch the children without leaving your seat!
The comfortable lounge has a 42 inch plasma TV with full sky package/video and DVD player. There is also a games/ reading room with TV/PS 2 and table football.
Down the hallway you will find the master suite with kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom and patio doors leading to the pool area. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed with patio doors leading to the pool also as does the 3rd double bedroom with fantastic mountain views. There is also a second large family bathroom.
The villa offers a high quality of accommodation in a private and individual setting, ideal for both families and couples.

About Yaiza/Uga, Lanzarote
Two enchanting villages within 2km of each other, and steeped in local tradition and culture. Both are more reminiscent more of North Africa than Spain, both for its architecture, brilliantly whitewashed houses and the surrounding vegetation.
Uga in particular is famous for its fresh salmon. Yaiza is the principal village in the south of Lanzarote, and as such is responsible for the maintenance of the general area including Playa Blanca and El Golfo, and Timanfaya National Park.
While in the village a visit to the 18th century church, whose tower rises over the main square is a must. Art lovers should go to the Galleria Yaiza which exhibits local paintings and ceramics, most of which are for sale. La Era restaurant is a 300 year-old farm, which has been beautifully transformed. The food is Canarian; the wine is made on the farm itself. El Campo restaurant down the road is a locals favourite, and has beautiful volcanic gardens, built into the volcano opposite.
