Casa Bermudez sits just a very short walk from the centre of the pretty canarian town of Tias. Popular with holidaymakers and ex pats for its excellent location on the island, Tias is well stocked with a range of good quality bars and restaurants as well as banks, doctors surgeries and phamacies.

A five minute drive, past the stunning, brand new, 18 hole golf course, brings you to Lanzarotes most popular and best established resort of Puerto del Carmen well you will find some beautiful golden sandy beaches and vibrant nightlife.

At approximately 300 years old Casa Bermudez oozes charm but its thorough renovation in 2006 ensures that it has all modern conveniances. The oppulent sitting room with its 4 metre high timbered ceilings and its baronial fireplace is the only room which doesnt lead off the stunning, open air centre courtyard typical of this type of property. The kitchen and dining room and sitting room all lead out to the garden and its large alfresco dining area which looks over the private heated pool, well stocked flower beds and views up to the mountains at Yaiza and down, across the Atlantic to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura.

About Tias, Lanzarote

A beautiful Canarian town with a range of shops, bars and restaurants. Tías is a 5km drive inland from Puerto del Carmen and within easy reach of the busy tourist districts. Although it is a predominantly Spanish town, the expat population has grown over recent years, so much that all street signs are now in Spanish and English!

Places of interest include Monumento al campesino, wine yard area of La Geria, the fire Mountains, the Green Caves, Jameos del Agua, View point of Mirador del Río (north), El Golfo.

Some activities include windsurfing, surf, diving and diving lessons,trekking, golf, etc.

Beaches: Puerto del Carmen beach, Papagayo beaches in the south of the island, Famara beach in the north of the island.
