About the property

Murla holiday villa is a newly built luxury villa on a modern urbanisation in the rural setting outside the village of Murla. Surrounded by mountains, orange and olive groves, you have a real sense of tranquility, but with all the amenities of the local towns within a 3 - 8 minute drive away.

Murla holiday villa has 199sqm of living accommodation, there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy the villa. With a large circular lounge seating for 6 people, TV, DVD and CD/radio. A gas fire and full central heating for winter lets. Double patio doors on to the covered naya leading to the superbly lit BBQ area and pool terrace. Separate dining room with large family table seating 8. Large well equipped separate kitchen.

The circular master bedroom has it's own adjoining bathroom and the door from the landing leads out on to the sun terrace. All the external doors have grills for added security. Bedrooms 2 and 3 and family bathroom are on the ground floor. All bed linen and bath & hand towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

All prices for our luxury villa include gas and electricity per week. Our luxury villa is thoroughly cleaned between each rental. Welcome pack provided.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is due upon booking. The remaining balance plus a £300 refundable security deposit are then due 8 weeks prior to arrival. The security deposit will be refunded to you within 10 days of your departure, less any deductions for breakages or losses.

Easter, Christmas and New Year weeks are charged at mid-season rates.

Arrival and departure dates for Murla holiday villa are flexible. Arrival after 4 pm and departure by 10 am on departure date. Minimum booking is for one week. We provide bath and hand towels and linen. These are changed weekly. We do not provide beach towels, and ask that you bring your own. A welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, sugar and milk will be provided.

All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult in the pool area. By renting the villa, you indicate that you agree to this condition. We provide plastic glasses for use on the nayer and the terrace. This is to ensure that no broken glass gets into the pool. It costs approximately Euros 4,000 to empty the pool, clean it and re-fill it. Therefore your complying with our request would be greatly appreciated.

Our son Wayne and Nicole service the villa and will do everything possible to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. They are a mine of useful local information. On completion of rental payments, directions and contact details will be sent via email or post.

Owner's Tips...

Our luxury villa with its own private pool is situated just through the Jalon valley in the mountains between the towns of Parcent, Murla and Orba. Murla is a sleepy village, built as you would expect around the ancient church. Just the one cafe, Papa's, but a warm friendly watering hole. Parcent and Orba have more to offer, many bars, restaurants and running the bulls in August when the various towns compete to put on the best firework display and of course the live entertainment that lasts until the early hours each night. Jalon is the focal town of the region and boasts two excelent co-op bodegas; the wine tasting is a must. And then there is Gallan, the best butcher in the region; you don't know what a b-b-q is until you get your ribs and sausages from Gallan. And there is an excellent modern supermarket. Saturday is the busiest day in the town due to the fantastic market.

Half way between our Murla villa and Jalon is Alcalali and here you will find some of Northern Alicante's finest restaurants; Valbon, renoun for fresh fish, Los Almendros and Pepe's; a word of warning when you eat at Pepe's, book first and go very hungry. Pepe realy caters for families and he provides a fenced outdoor play area for children.

The safe Blue Flag beaches of Denia, Javia, Moraira and Calpe are all within a 25-35 minute drive. They all boast excellent bars and restaurants and Calpe's port has great value fish restaurants.

Baby Sitting Service (For Romantics Only!!)
We like to think that Murla Villa will be a memorable family holiday for all our guests. But just in case some romantics arrive and you would just love to have a romantic evening out by yourselves, you can arrange that with your holiday hosts Wayne and Nicole. A couple of days' notice is all that is required. And this service is provided at a reasonable cost - just ask on arrival.

B-B-Q Chef Service
Very often a B-B-Q is a fabulous family get together. If like me you enjoy the cooking as much as the eating, and if like me you are really good on the old B-B-Q, then you will not need this service. But as much as I love cooking on the B-B-Q, (I apologise for blowing my own trumpet, but I am good on the B-B-Q) when we arrive in Murla I just leave the B-B-Qing to Wayne. He just does the best job. So if you would really like to enjoy the best B-B-Q ever, just talk to Wayne. He and Nicole will organise a feast to remember and at a sensible cost.

Restrictions:

Murla holiday villa is only rented to families and not groups of singles. No pets.

As we are non-smokers, we would ask you to respect our preference and those families who may follow you. Please smoke outside the villa. Ashtrays are provided on the nayer and on the sun terrace.
