About the property
A luxurious & spacious semi-detached villa with private swimming pool,sleeping up to 8 people. There are 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a cloakroom, an open plan living/dining room, a fully fitted kitchen, a large private roof terrace with pergola & a large terrace at the rear of the house which captures the sun from mid morning right through to the evening. The whole house has a wonderful light and airy feel and is furnished to a very high standard.
Upstairs there is a fabulous king size 4 poster bed, a master bedroom with double bed & ensuite shower room & a twin room complete with TV, video, DVD, CD player, Playstation and a selection of games. The four poster room and twin room have french doors opening out onto a small 'Juliet' balcony which overlooks the rear terrace & swimming pool. All bedrooms have ample storage and are beautifully and comfortably furnished.
The main bathroom has a bath with shower over, washbasin, WC and bidet.
Downstairs is a large open plan lounge/dining area with french doors opening out to the large terraced area & the private swimming pool. The room has 2 comfortable leather sofas, a further double sofa bed (which would be used for bookings of more than 6 persons), a flat screen TV, DVD player and hi-fi system with USB port for your iPods/MP3 players!
There is a dining table seating 6, a library of DVD's, CD's, books and also a selection of family games.
The separate kitchen has a stainless steel oven and ceramic hob, a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster, plenty of crockery, cutlery, pans, etc - pretty much everything you need for that home from home holiday, but in the sun!
Stairs from the landing outside the bedrooms lead to the upper roof terrace where there is a dining table and chairs from which you can take advantage of the stunning views - of the sea, sand dunes & the islands of Lobos & Lanzarote. There is also a table football game which helps to keep the kids occupied (both young and old!)
The villa has a large garden area which captures the sun from early morning to late afternoon. It is gradually being landscaped, including the recent addition of a 5m x 3m private swimming pool, a large tiled terrace area, a pergola for those who prefer a bit of shade, a BBQ area, a Pool Table/Electric Air Hockey game & plenty of furniture for the all important sunbathing & al fresco dining! Soon to be installed around the pool is a high quality safety fence for the protection of small children & the peace of mind of parents! This fence will be removeable so that groups of adults &/or guests with older children do not need to have the fence in place.
At the front of the villa is a private driveway with an electrically operated gate, making it safe for children. There is also plenty of parking space immediately in front of the driveway.
The villa is fully alarmed, with a simple keyfob operation for your convenience.
We aim to provide as many of those 'home from home' comforts as we possibly can, so with this in mind, here are a few of the little extras included when you rent our villa:-
A basic welcome pack will await you on your arrival. There's nothing worse than not being able to make a cuppa and a snack, or crack open a bottle of wine after your journey. A luxury food and drink pack can also be arranged -please enquire.
For clients with small children, we provide the following free of charge: highchair, stairgate, travel cot with bassinnet, full Graco travel system (i.e. buggy complete with baby car seat), car seat, buggy, blender for baby food.
Other items included:-
All bed linen and towels, including beach towels; an iron & ironing board; a hairdryer & hair straighteners; a wide selection of CD's, DVD's and books (if you arrange a booking, we can email you a list for you to choose from); a selection of board games for all ages, along with the pool table, air hockey & table football already mentioned; a folder packed with information about the local area & the island.
We also offer a complimentary airport 'Meet & Greet' service.

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and are based on 6 people sharing.

There is a nightly tariff from £60 (£75 from April) for anyone taking advantage of the shorter breaks available following the addition of more flights from low-cost airlines.
Please enquire about any other special offers which may be available (for example, in quieter periods we may offer a discount for smaller groups).
Please note that the increase in price from July takes account of the addition of the private pool in the garden.
£150/€200 deposit is required upon booking, with the balance due within 6 weeks of your departure date. Preferred method of payment is bank transfer. We can accept bank transfers in GBP or Euros.
A refundable security deposit of £100/€100 is also required upon payment of the balance.
Prices subject to change at the owners discretion.
Changeover day is flexible.
About Corralejo, Fuerteventura
Situated on the northern tip of the island, Corralejo is the biggest and busiest resort on Fuerteventura. Once a working fishing town, it has become one of the most popular destinations in the Canaries. With fantastic year round sunshine and perfect windsurfing conditions, Corralejo is where it’s at. People come from afar to view the rolling sand dunes and magnificent beaches. Whilst in the town centre there is a large surplus of hotels and restaurants to choose from.
Owner's Tips...
Mirador de Las Dunas is a residential complex situated in the Parque Natural area on the edge of the ever popular town of Corralejo, with its stunning beaches, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, abundant shops and restaurants & great water park.
The complex is in a front-line position to the beautiful, protected sand dunes of Corralejo, with unimpeded views of the sea & the islands of Lobos & Lanzarote. It is bordered by protected park land & also has panoramic mountain views.
It is a gated community & has a large communal pool area with a wonderful lagoon style swimming pool, a smaller shallow pool for children & a jacuzzi .
As the complex is residential, it is amazingly quiet and tranquil, making it the perfect place to literally 'get away from it all', but with the benefit of the lively bars & restaurants of the main resort, plus the famous sand dunes beaches only a few minutes drive away.
The location is approximately 30 mins drive from the international airport in the capital of Puerto del Rosario and approximately 5 mins by car into the main resort of Corralejo (about 5 Euros in a taxi). The nearest supermarket is approx 5 mins away by car.
The famous sand dune beaches are approx 5 mins drive, though there are some lovely beaches in and around Corralejo which are clean & safe for small children.
There are many other lovely beaches on the island, including the lagoons at El Cotillo (about 20 mins drive) and also some lovely places to visit in the canarian villages. The roads are extremely good and never crowded - driving around the island is a pretty relaxing experience & well worth the effort!
We recommend that you hire a car to get the most from your holiday.
