About the property
Finca Gallega is situated in the foothills of the delightful village of Casares, it is about 10 minutes to the village and the same down to the coast.
The finca consists of 2 cottages plus 2 extra bedrooms in independent buildings so is ideal for 2 families or a large group of friends holidaying together. It is a typical and charming Andalucian country property set in the most beautiful and peaceful surroundings with lovely views in every direction taking in both the mountains and the sea.
The property is approached by a fairly rough but passable track. On reaching it you drive into a large courtyard with the beautiful swimming pool directly in front of you. On this level is situated one cottage that consists of a sitting room, kitchen, double bedroom and shower room. The kitchen is equipped with a sink, 2 ring ceramic hob, microwave, fridge and a washing machine. The living room has a television and DVD with a satellite reception. Next door to this cottage is another room with a separate entrance that has bunk beds and it's own ensuite wc with hand basin. A roof terrace with a patio set completes this
part of the accommodation.
Going across the spacious patio you come to some steps that go down to the second, and larger cottage. This opens into a good sized living room with a balcony off it which has the most commanding views of the countryside and sea. There is a TV in the sitting room with a satellite reception. There is one bedroom off here with twin beds, although these can be made up as a double if wished. An archway also takes you from the living room into the large kitchen/dining room with feature fireplace. This too has a delightful little patio off it with the same wonderful views.
The kitchen has a large 6 ring gas cooker with full oven, a washing machine and fridge/freezer.
The double bedroom leads off from the dining area and this has a full ensuite bathroom.
Going back outside and returning up the stairs towards the patio you find another independent bed room. This is quite a large room with a double bed and its own shower cubicle and hand basin.
The good sized swimming pool has Roman steps leading into it and a dolphin motif in the mosaic tiles. It is surrounded by a large tiled sun terrace, with sun beds and comfortable seating plus a BBQ.
The whole property is in the most idyllic setting with peace and tranquility all around, however at the same time it is not far down to the hustle and bustle of the Costa del Sol or you can head inland and explore some of the charming white villages.

The Christmas/New Year period is for 8 nights, these can vary from those advertised to suit you, and the Finca will be decorated with tree, trimmings, candles etc. and a special Christmas welcome pack provided.
Owner's Tips...
The picturesque hillside town of Casares is a delightful example of traditional Spanish life. Whilst it has been improved and updated in recent years it still retains it's original olde worlde charm with narrow winding streets and a very friendly, stable community where
evrybody knows one another and in many instances are related.
There is a small indoor market plus a weekly street market that is held on Fridays. In addition there are a variety of small village shops where you will be able to buy most of your provisions as well as a choice of bars and restaurants.
The nearest large town is Estepona. This is a very pretty seaside resort with a large beach and excellent choice of shops, bars and restaurants.
All along this western end of the Costa del Sol are lovely beaches, good golf courses and many good quality bars and restaurants. You are also within easy reach of the historic rock of Gibraltar.
