About the property
Fed up with the hustle and bustle of coastal resorts? Why not stay in the country and relax - stay in the 'real' Spain and yet be only 30 minutes from the award winning beaches of Gandia. Perfectly positioned just 3km from the town of Ontinyent and just 30 minutes from the beaches of Gandia. Its location offers the option of a quiet relaxing retreat for all the family.
El Parque sits in private grounds of 8000 m2 with fantasctic views over the surrounding hills and mountains. The pool is 8 x 5 metres with ample area for lounging or simply relaxing.
El Parque is accessed through large, electronically operated, iron gates and a driveway through the pine trees to a shady area lined with walnut trees with parking for several cars.
There are two apartments available separately or can be rented together for larger parties - please call for prices if both are required). They come highly equipped with all mod cons, all linen, car parking, welcome pack (optional) and much more.
Apartment 1 has double front doors which open onto an open-plan kitchen/lounge diner. The kitchen is fully fitted with a cooker a fridge freezer, microwave and a washing machine. In the lounge area there is a three-piece suite, Sky satellite TV showing UK terrestrial channels (BBC1, ITV, C4, C5) plus Sky freeview, DVD player and a stereo system. The family bathroom has bath, shower over, wc and handbasin. The bedroom has one double bed plus a single, many cupboards and two large wardrobes.
Apartment 2 is accessed through stable-style doors into the lounge area having an open fire, Sky satellite TV showing UK terrestrial channels (BBC1, ITV, C4, C5) plus Sky freeview, DVD player and stereo system. From here into the dining room (or bodega) with table and chairs for 4, sideboard and much more. Back to the lounge and into the open-plan kitchen. Again, the kitchen is fully fitted with a cooker a fridge freezer a microwave and a washing machine. The bedroom has two double beds, a single 'put-you-up' if required and two large wardrobes. The en-suite bathroom is fully fitted with bath, separate shower, sink and wc.
Towels and all bed linen is provided.

Owner's Tips...
Ontinyent is at the centre of many natural parcs (sierras), is very close to the mountains which are ideal for walkers and sigt seeing alike, whilst being only a short drive away from such towns as Valencia, Xativa and Alcoy.
El Parque is situated south of Valencia and 30 minutes drive inland of the resort of Gandia, in the area known as the Costa del Azahar (Orange Blossom coast). The valleys are farmed with olives, oranges and vines and framed with majestic mountains stretching as far as the eye can see. The nearest local town of Ontinyent is a 5 minute drive and is a lively country town with superb shops, bars and restaurants, cinema, bowling alley, internet cafes and a weekly market. The mediaeval city of Xativa is a 15 minute drive from El Parque and is highly recommended - preserved castle, old quarter, bull ring, elegant shops, fine dining and tapas bars. The beach resort of Gandia is 30 minutes drive and easily accessed by the main road located 1 km from the villa. The beaches are clean, sandy and Blue Flag status and the resort is a plethora of cafes and restaurants with superb shops in the town. Valencia, city of culture, is 45 minutes by car and is a "must see" city.
The nearest shops, supermarkets, banks, bars and restaurants are located in the town of Ontinyent, a 5 minute drive from El Parque. The mediaeval city of Xativa is 15 minutes drive from the villa and has large supermarkets and a wide selection of restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets. There is a weekly market in the Old Quarter.
