About the property

This luxury villa is set in a fabulous valley just behind Arrieta Beach. The estate of "Finca de Arrieta" boasts 30,000 meters of land and panoramic sea and mountain views. The area was originally farming land and has two natural wells, the house is a fully restored Aljibe 'Water Deposit' and has been styled using local stone work and wood. Its mature exotic gardens include fruit trees of Mango, Banana, Guava, Lime etc, a bonus if you are here at the right season!

This self-catering property has a large kitchen, spacious sitting room with seating for 8, a large airy master bedroom with a large built in wardrobe en-suite bathroom with jet bath and a separate walk-in-shower with large shower head. The second bedroom has twin beds and a sofa bed for any extra visitors, this bedroom is next to the second bathroom both have glass and steel sinks and Moroccan mirrors. The house is on one level and has a further sofa bed in the living room. The flooring is of natural stone and hard wood.

There is a shared solar heated pool, gas BBQ, dining and chill out area. The walled and gated pool area consists of a 10 meter lap pool, a jet pool a Polynesian style day bed with thatched roof, large open entertaining suite with 2nd kitchen, dining table, Moroccan seating area, and a guest toilet with shower.

Also avalable to rent at the estate (if an extra bedroom is needed) is an Eco Yurt which sleeps 4 has it´s own independant shower room, outdoor kitchen & patio.The Yurt is from Mongolia where these live in this this form of house through out the year, it is fitted with Marble flooring, luxury fabrics and furnishings.

The estate runs on wind and solar power and is a unique example of sustainable living. There are 30 solar panels, batteries and 2 large windmills. This rural location is a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in the country with the beauty of being next to the beach. There is also an added bonus of farm eggs every morning from our free range hens.

You enter the 30,000 meter estate via electric gate and pass the first independent dwelling and on up the drive to your house. The house has its own mature garden, terrace, sun loungers, BBQ, and outdoor thatch covered 'breeze house' dining area with sea views. There is use of a computer with internet access for your stay if needed. For our younger guests this property comes with Trampoline, play house and swing and the chance to visit the reident Donkey and Chickens!

The Yurt can be rented seperately or in conjunction with the main house, please enquire for prices.

The pool and chill out area are shared between the 3 houses & the Yurt. The area consists of the solar heated pool with jet pool, covered Polynesian style day bed, gas BBQ, covered 2nd Kitchen, dining table for 8 people, music system and Moroccan style seating. This area is also set with mature gardens, sun loungers, panoramic sea and mountain views and the 3rd bathroom and services the 3 dwellings on the estate.

Owner's Tips...

Arrieta village is within walking distance and has the beauty of being a Canarian Fishing Village along with all amenities needed, ie. restaurants, supermarkets, bakers, sea front tapas bars etc. A wonderful place to holiday and experience the true Lanzarote life style.

The island's only 18 hole golf course situated in Costa Teguise only a 15 minute drive, it is set at the foot of an old volcano, surrounded by 3000 palms, cactus and beautiful views to the sea. Group or individual classes are available from one of the two golf professionals.

This area of Lanzarote is also fantastic for walking and mountain biking. There are some great tracks from the estate for mountain biking, this is a quiet part of the island and there is plenty to explore and discover. There are 4 bikes at the house for your use all free of charge, there is also table tennis on site for guests use.

Other local activities include surfing, swimming, tennis, sailing, fishing, horse riding and wind-surfing. Or maybe you just want to relax and read a good book next to the pool in peaceful surroundings.
