About the property
Casa Laja Blanca is located close to the sea and is a 2 bed, 2 bath villa in the exclusive development of Aguamarina. This villa has been furnished to the highest of standards by Angie at Montana Villas, who has years of holiday rental experience and knows exactly what is required for a comfortable stay.
The private pool is 8 x 4 m with electric pool heating and sits on a walled garden. There is a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, oven, kettle, toaster, microwave. The utility room houses the washing machine with drying rack, iron and ironing board.
The villa has a parking space in front of the villa along with a private garage. The front door leads to a grand hallway with marble stairs up to the master bedroom. The master bedroom is en-suite with marble bathroom and shower over bath. Next to the bed are bedside tables, reading lights and fitted wardrobes. The window to the side of the bed gives sea and lighthouse views over the neighbouring villas. The double patio doors to the foot of the bed give amazing sea and mountain views, all you need to do is sit up in bed to enjoy these views with your morning cup of tea! The doors lead to a roof terrace with two sunloungers and a table with two chairs. For adults this is the perfect escape from the children who have plenty of space downstairs!
On the ground floor is another marble bathroom with shower over bath, a spacious twin bedroom with window to the poolside. A 5th bed is provided and can be used in either bedroom or just under the marble stairs which is the great place for a youngster to sleep Harry Potter style! A security safe is fitted for your holiday valuables.
The lounge is bright and airy with marble floors, gorgeous seaside paintings and flatscreen TV with UK channels and DVD player. A CD player and discs are provided.
The patio doors lead to the poolside and a further window over looks the covered outdoor dining area with BBQ and typical Canarian seating and marble table for 6.
Aguamarina is a 5 min drive away from the main resort of Playa Blanca and is in a quiet location, although a stones throw away you can find an Indian restaurant, Spanish café, French café/bar, English pub with major sporting events and pool table, a small convenience store with all your essentials and UK papers plus a Mediterranean restaurant. The seafront promenade is a 15 minute walk away and from here you can get to Playa Mulata the nearest beach and another set of bars and restaurants.
Aguamarina is a development of 59 detached villas with private pools. The development has a priviledged position and views to the sea (especially from the terrace on the upper floor of Casa Laja Blanca).
There are some lovely mountain and costal walks to do around the area and it is perfect for a peaceful family holiday in luxury accomodation.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
Owner's Tips...
Get onto the promenade and walk 15 mins to Playa Mulata, an unspoilt beach with a small selection of top class restauarants including a Modern Tapas one, Argentina Grill, Italian and an amazingly beach cocktail bar.
