About the property

Casa Clara is a well located, modern townhouse style semi-detached villa close to Marina Rubicon. The pool will be electrically heated from 1st April 2008 if not sooner. It is also close to an international supermarket, taxi rank, snack bar and tradional Spanish restaurant. There is a drive for one car, a gated garden and path that leads you to thr front door.

Through this door you will find the large open plan style dining area and living room which has TV, CD/radio, DVD, comfortable furniture and views through the double patio doors to the 6 x 3 m private pool.

The kitchen is modern and fully fitted with washing machine, dishwasher, iron, ironing board, fridge freezer and microwave. There is also a family shower room and toilet on this level. The single bedroom is also on this level and is perfect for one adult or one child.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the master en-suite bedroom has a private balcony with sea and Marina views. There are fitted wardrobes with ample storage space. The second bedroom has twin beds and is next door to the family bathroom.

On the patio there is a table with four chairs for outdoor dining and four sun loungers for your serious sunbathing pleasure!

Just a 15-20 minute walk (at the most) down the road you have the fabulous 5 * Marina Rubicon which is fully open and home to some wonderful yachts, exclusive shops and brilliant restaurants including the very trendy Café Del Mar (previously only found in Ibiza). The Marina is the place to be seen, everyone gets dressed up in the evening and heads down for a cocktail or a meal on the waters edge. This is the best place for people watching! We also love to go down for some lunchtime tapas and homemade ice -cream. Like the rest of Playa Blanca, the Marina has a great family atmosphere and is a whole lot of fun. There is also a new dive school for those of you that would like to explore the fabulous marine life of Lanzarote.

To reach the village you can follow the sea front promenade which will take you into the centre of Playa Blanca, the walk takes around 20-25 minutes.

Car hire is not necessary as there is a taxi rank very near by and you can walk to lots of places, however car hire is recommended for easy access to the towns main amenities and the tourist attractions of the island.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
