La Encina is a five-year old house of 130 m2 built in a traditional rustic Andalucian style, with hand-made terracotta tiled floors and cane and wooden beamed ceilings. It is situated in the hills above Lake Viñuela and Velez-Malaga and enjoys wonderful views of the sea and surrounding hills and mountains.
N.B. the house is larger than it looks in photographs!
The house has 3 double bedrooms, 2 doubles and 1 twin, 2 ensuite shower rooms, a family shower room, a living/dining room with open-plan kitchen.
Outside there are is a sunny terraced area around the walled free-shaped pool with a depth throughout of 1.5 metres, and a shaded terrace with large built-in barbecue and table for al fresco dining. There is also a boules area and an all-weather badminton court.
Access to the house is via a good unmade road of approximately 3 kilometres, bumpy in parts, but accessible with a normal car.

Owner's Tips...
La Encina is ideally situated for visiting the lovely cities of Andalucia - Granada, Cordoba, Seville and Malaga. Activities in the area include horse-riding, quad-biking, water sports, walking, bird-watching and golf. There are various restaurants within 15 minutes of the house, ranging from traditional Spanish to Indian. Slightly further away on the coast there are many good fish and seafood restaurants. Local villages all have a small supermarket, and there is a wider range of shops at Velez-Malaga and Torre del Mar.
