A beautiful detached villa facing the breathtaking mountain range of Sierra Tejada. The villa is surrounded by a national park in lovely countryside near Lake Vinuela and only 30 minutes drive from the coast. The villa is just outside the pretty, typically Spanish village of Venta Baja. Its only a one hour drive from Malaga airport. The resorts of Marbella and Nerja are along the coast to the West and East respectively.
It is perfectly located for visiting the magnificent cities of Malaga, Granada, Seville, Coroba and Ronda. All of which are near enough for day trips.
This beautiful villa has three double bedrooms with built in wardrobes. One bedroom has twin beds with a pull out single bed so it sleeps 7 comfortably. Two bathrooms, one en-suite.
The living room is a large sunny room with double patio doors overlooking the garden and countryside. In the lounge is satellite TV so you can watch British programmes if you choose. Also DVD, video, hi-fi and Playstation. Separate dining room also looking out onto the garden.
There is a front terrace ideal for sitting out for breakfast and greeting the morning sun. The large kitchen is fully fitted and complete with all white goods. Marble floors throughout and beautifully decorated and furnished. Air conditioning hot/cold.
Outside are mature gardens to front and back with orange and pomegranate trees. The driveway up to the villa offers ample parking for several cars. The large pool is surrounded by terraces for sunbathing. Sun loungers and umbrellas provided. Large table and chairs for eating outside. There is a built in BBQ area with an outside bar poolside. An outhouse has the washing machine.
The villa is peaceful and quiet. The evening rush hour is the goat-herder with his goats and the only noise from them is the tinkling of the bells around their necks. Set in large gardens the villa is private and safe for young children to play.
The village is within walking distance and has all the amenities. There is a bakery with delicious spanish bread and cakes. The butcher sells excellent meat ready for the barbecue. There are a couple of small grocery shops. For your main shopping requirements the supermarket is at Torre Del Mar.
The village also has some pleasant cafe/bars serving tapas and traditional Spanish fare.

“Great villa - plenty of space for everyone. Wonderful views and the mountain location took the edge off the summer heat, although there was adequate shade around the outside of the villa to get out of the sun if needs be. A taste of rural Spain within easy reach of the coast. All in all we had a relaxing and great holiday - thank you.”

“Beautiful villa on an great spot in the middle of the beautiful Alcaucin area.
Great views from al sides of the villa.
Within a 15-20 minute walk you reach the local village Don Manuel, where you can find small supermarket, butchers, bakery and several local and british restaurants.
Beaches and larger places can be found within 30 minutes drive (Velez Malaga, Torre del Mar).
Within 45 minutes drive you can reach beautiful beaches of Nerja (f.e. Buryana, Maro) and Rincon de la Victoria.
60 minute drive to Malaga airport is easy.
My family and I (three young kids) liked the private pool and the rest of the house.
There is a lot of space, three fine bedrooms and a very large living room.
The kitchen also is very large!
The villa therefore is recommended based on out great summer holiday in july / august 2009.”
