About Hermanas De Castillo
This spacious two bedroom apartment offers an excellent get away. Situated on the edge of the village, near to the surfers beach and the sandy lagoons.
El Cotillo is a quiet picturesque fishing village with a good selection of restaurants and bars.
Ideal for those wanting a truly relaxing break in a stunning location. El Cotillo is a perfect base for lazy days on the stunning lagoon beaches, or for taking advantage of the many other activities the area has to offer.
The apartment has its own individual large sun terrace which is perfect for dining alfresco and sunbathing with a glass of sangria and a good book. Grid reference for google map is 28.682075,-14.007
Furnished to a high standard and is fully equipped for 4 people. A welcome pack of tea, coffee , milk & water is supplied for your on arrival.
20 minutes drive from Corralejo or catch a bus minutes from the apartment and 40 minutes drive from the Capital Perto De Rosario which offers fantacstic shopping.
Have a game of Golf at the championship golf course in Catea De fuste or cool down in the waterpark in Corralejo

If arrival/departure day is on a Sunday / christmas & New year period this will incur an extra charge

About El Cotillo, Fuerteventura
Still one of the unspoilt villages on the north-western part of the island, major development and tourism has remained at bay. As well as beautiful beaches, this village is known for its fort, Fortaleza del Tostón, which was built in 1797. Looking slightly odd now, isolated on the cliff tops. El Cotillo is a traditional Canarian village that doesn’t have all night bars and restaurants, so if it’s a quiet break away you’re looking for, you’ve just discovered the right place to escape too.
Owner's Tips
Direct flights from most major European airports. Flight time 2 - 5 hours. Most charter airlines fly here, and scheduled flights from UK via Madrid. Budget airline EasyJet & Ryanair now fly from the UK and Madrid. Thomas cook and First choice also fly here with some saturday flights.
Although not essential car hire is recommended. It's good value, the roads are very quiet and there are lots of stunning scenery and many interesting places to visit. We can recommend a good hire car firm.
Arrival and departure day and times are flexible depending on other bookings.
Local tourist information available at El Toston Tower near the new harbour. Cash point & Internet nearby. Mountain bikes, surfboards, snorkels etc can be hired locally. Fuerteventura Golf Club is approx 45 mins away.

About us
I live on the island of Fuerteventura with my husband.
The apartment is our only apartment for rent therefore we can offer a personal service and give as much time as needed to each individual client.
We first came for holidays to Fuerteventura 15 years ago and fell in love with the island and the stunning beaches and the endless blue sea and sky and most importantly the warm Winter sun.
What we love about our property
Our apartment is close to the sea and central to everything the village has to offer. We have furnished and equipped it to suit ourselves as well as our holiday clients so it really is our home from home in the sun.
We think you will enjoy your time here.There are numerous benefits for staying in El Cotillo You can really escape the crowds. Some of the best restaurants on the island are there and all within easy walking distance.
The local buses run regularly to Corralejo and you can also get a connection from there to Puerto Rosario the capital of the island. You can do as little or as much as you want. Bird watching, cycling, fishing, surfing or nothing but sunbath and drink the delightful Wine. The are a few supermarkets and gift shops but not too many! With the large patio area you can also enjoy great alfresco dining, have a BBQ or get a takeaway and enjoy a quiet night.

“This spotless and beautifully maintained appartment contained everything necessary to make for a relaxing holiday - it was obvious that great thought and care had gone into furnishing and equipping it.
The owners were also able to provide us with several very helpful pieces of information in advance of our arrival, which assisted with planning. eg a car useful hire recommendation as well as a great morning of bird-watching on the island through www.fuerteventurabirdwatch.co.uk
This appartment provide us with a great base for our first visit to Fuerteventura. We would really like to come back again and very much appreciate the kindness of the owners. Thank you.”

“My partner and I stayed at this apartment from Nov3-Nov10,2010 and we were very pleasnatly surprised with it. There was everything you needed ,from beach mats.barbie,avery nice starter pack,which we both thought was a very nice touch.For those who want abreak from everything ,this is the place to be and also not being amillion metres from anywhere including the fabulous beaches.We shall certainly be back(11 out of 10)

“This is the best equiped apartment we have ever come across in all our years of travel. Every conceivable item to help your stay is to be found in this apartment. Like stated earlier, Andy and Sandie could not have done more to make our stay hastle free, guided tour on our arrival to the best resturants in El Cotillo and how to gain acess to the beaches. The arrival pack is a great touch and is also very welcoming. We will be back in 2011 and it can't arrive fast enough. Thanks once again to both Andy and Sandie.”

“Home from home property, the owners have thought of every little detail. Apartment is kitted out with the best quality beds and furniture. A normal cooker allows you to, keep costs down by eating in, especially with the convenience of a good size supermarket just over the road. Sandy and Andy are so friendly and couldn't help enough. We so appreciated their little guided tour of El Cottillo, upon arrival and tips on the best places to eat. Within easy walking distance of the beautiful beaches and lagoons, this apartment is just the perfect base for a peaceful, relaxing, beach holiday of the highest quality.”
