About the property
Pretty seaside apartment in Peniscola, " the City in the sea". Set in tranquil surroundings 5 minutes walk to quiet coves and a natural park, 10-15 mins.walk to 7kms. long sandy blue flag beaches, harbour, castle, restaurants, bars and huge choice of watersports and activities.
The apartment views are to the sea, Peniscola old town, fishing harbour and a natural park called the Sierra D'Irta - a beautiful protected area suitable for those who enjoy walking, cycling and enjoying the scenery and lovely beaches stretching all the way along the coastilne.
A nearby communal pool and sport facilities .April-0ct. .payable daily .

The apartment is of a traditional Spanish design and provides a Mediterrean home from home stay. Light and airy in the summer, cosy and warm in the winter. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, open plan kitchen and lounge/diner. Outside there are two terraces and a roof top patio.There is a patio table that seats 5 , BBQ ,sunloungers, and seating areas for sun or shade.
The double bedroom has a large fitted wardrobe and ample storage drawers. The second twin bedroom has a single bed and one bunk bed plus a small wardrobe. All bedding and towels provided/changed weekly....... please bring own beach / pool towels .
The kitchen is fully equipped and the comfortable lounge /diner has all mod-cons and seating for 5. The satellite TV has a range of English channels.
Travel cot and highchair available upon request.
Also have a ground floor neighbouring apartment for rent which sleeps 5, enquire for availability as not shown on my availability calendar. Welcome pack provided, full grocery shop on request.

Owner's Tips...
A car is not necessary to enjoy the apartment but the surrounding countryside and sights are worth viewing.
In the town centre there are facilities to rent bicycles, quads and also car hire as well as a regular bus service from the apartment to the town centre and inland ...hourly service Easter and June -Oct.
On the beaches all watersports are available, as well as boat trips. As Peniscola is a fishing harbour you can hire a boat to go fishing or even buy fish fresh off the boat when they return from their afternoons fishing . Peniscola is 10-15 minutes walk away from the apartment where 7km of blue flag beach providing a wide variety of watersports can be found along with a great selection of cafes and bars and restaurants.
Various festivals and celebrations take place all year round and the locals are eager for all to join or why not sit on the terrace of the apartment with a glass of vino or cerveza and admire the views.
From Peniscola to the neighbouring seaside towns of Benicarlo and Vinaros there is a 12km. walk/cycle path...sea and lots of lovely cafe/bars to enjoy.
The nearest golf course is half an hours drive away and forthe ladies there are many fabulous boutiques and shoe shops for the women in peniscola and the main shopping areas of Vinaros, Benicarlo or Castellon .Lots of adventure activities within a short drive..quads,go karts,diving etc.,and for the children ten pin bowling,cinema,horse riding- if they ever want to leave the beach!
Sports facilities (April to September only) and large outdoor swimming pool nearby,payable daily. The nearest waterpark, called Aquarama, is located 25 km from the apartment. Portaventura/Universal, Europe's largest theme park, is 1 hour away.
Valencia and Barcelona can be visited via a train journey, both are beautiful cities
Apartment is suitable if you're looking for a relaxing tranquil holiday or a busy action packed one the choice is yours.
We can arrange airport transfers ...a door to door service in a luxury 7 seater vehicle pleae enquire.
. The main airports are Valencia or Reus both being around an hours journey .Barcelona is 2.30 hrs. away.
They are served by all the major and budget airlines eg. Ryanair,Easyjet,Thomsonfly,Monarch,BMI.ETC
A new airport that is being built in Castellon will be opened 2009 and will only take 25 mins transfer.
A There is an excellent bus and train service from the airports to Benicarlo and then a 10 minute taxi ride to the apartment.
