About Villa Jacaranda
Privately owned, totally secluded detached villa in the south of Tenerife where you are almost guaranteed year round sunshine.
Villa Jacaranda has its own private pool; it has a shallow end (1meter) with a good set of steps down into the water, ideal for sitting sipping your G & T! The deep end is around 1.5 meters. The pool & all garden areas surrounding the villa are totally secluded - no-one can see you!
The villa has 2 bedrooms, one huge double bedroom with en-suite walk in shower & 2 sinks; the other is a twin bedroom with a separate bathroom with "over the bath" shower (sorry, only 1 sink!).
The lounge is divided into a sitting & dining area. One of the sofas is a very comfortable, double sofa bed. The 42 inch LCD TV has satellite BBC 1, 2 & ITV. There are numerous DVD's (films + TV programmes) which we have left & also been very kindly left or swapped by previous guests. the books are available on the same basis - read & swap. There is also a selection of CD's - they may not be to your taste however! There is also a portable iPod/iPhone dock in the kitchen so that you can have music by the poolside.
On your arrival you will find a welcome pack which is included in your price; this consists of the basic needs e.g. water, milk, sugar, tea & coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped with all conveniences, oven, hob, fridge/freezer & microwave etc. It has a small utility room with a washing machine (plenty outside drying space - no need for a tumbler!). Full bed linen & villa towels are provided at no extra cost. If you are staying for longer than a week, a linen change is also included in your cost.
Children welcome. The villa is situated in a very quiet cul-de-sac with plenty parking spaces right outside the villa. It is a very secure place for children as there is no way for them to wander on to the road, the perimeter is totally enclosed. A cot & high chair are available at no extra cost.
If you require a bigger villa, 3 bedrooms, please see our other place Villa Esselle. (reference number 3931) Each villa is totally separate, there is a very high wall! However, there is a staircase with a locked door between the 2 which can be unlocked if you have a large party & wish to book both villas. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this.

Our arrival and departure days are flexible.
There are no further charges other than stated. We require a damage deposit cheque for £300, we do not bank this, we will return or shred it on your return home.

About Golf del Sur, Tenerife
Golf del Sur is a green oasis built around a 27 hole championship golf course that has hosted several international events. A quieter area of Tenerife, it is ideally suited to golfers, young families and those who just want to take life easy. Sandy beaches are a few minutes drive away and bars, restaurants and shops are available on the San Blas centre. Busier nightlife and more shopping available 10 to 15 minutes drive away in Los Cristianos and Las Americas.
Golf del Sur holiday villas and apartments are widely available, many have reduced green fees for those wanting to play at the championship course.
Owner's Tips
The villa is 5 mins walk from all local amenities. The supermarket stocks most things you would require & there is a chemist & other various tourist shops. The bars & restaurants are too numerous to mention individually but some of our favourites are on the quiet "back street" eg Tapas called L Plata D'Oro.
It is a 20 min walk or an 8€ taxi to the fishing village of Los Abrigos, there are some fabulous fish/seafood restaurants here, again too many to describe. Walking round the sea path towards Amarilla golf you will find a few more places to eat & drink with lovely views over the coast.

About us
Hi there our names are Lynne & Stuart. We bought Villa Esselle in 2002 & built Villa Jacaranda next door in 2007. We use both villas for ourselves, our families & our friends, so they are both as you'd expect for family use! We like our "home comforts" while over there & expect you will too! Its nice to be able to say "treat it like your 2nd home, as it is ours". Enjoy your holiday!
What we love about our property
Mostly the absolute privacy, seclusion & peace & quiet! Also, you needn't hire a car, a great bonus to be able to walk everywhere for local amenities. Easy access to tours or car hire if you want to explore the island.

“This was our second stay at Villa Jacaranda - the only time we have returned to the same villa in 15 years of villa-holidaying! This is an absolutely superb villa and we cannot recommend it enough. The villa is immaculate inside - very clean and spacious. The pool area and pool are excellent - kept at a nice temperature. There are some great restaurants nearby, and all necessary shops are also close by. We will definitely be staying at Villa Jacaranda again! Thanks Lynne.”

“We really enjoyed a very relaxing week and the heated swimming pool was just heaven. Resturant and bars a short walk were very friendly and welcoming. Although the flight path was close overhead at times we very soon got use to it and enjoyed plane spotting. Hopefully will be booking for next year if available.”

fantastic. We had a brilliant holiday and will most certainly be back. The location is ideal, a short walk to the shops, sea and the wonderful village of Los Abrigos is also walkable, you'll find some fantastic fish restaurants there too.”

“When we booked Villa Jacaranda, the pictures looked lovely, and we couldn't wait to go. On arrival, we were all delighted, and the photos don't do it full justice.
The "only" fault I could pick, would be the lack of aircon, and as it was 30/35+ every day, with the nights still in the 20's, but that would be me, being very picky indeed.
The rest of the villa experience was excellent, and my grandaughter ensured that I was her entertainment in the pool every day, from 9am - 6pm.
This was our first villa experience, and we have already booked up, for a villa holiday for next October too.
The Jacaranda gave us everything we wanted in a holiday and more, and it is promoted, as being a "home form home", and that's exactly what it is, with the inclusion of the weather, of course !!
The whole experience was great and Lynne explained everything fully, and the leaflet she sends out, to detail everything you need to know abouth the villa and surrounding area is great too.
We left the villa, with great sadness, but all of us, had a very relaxing time, and it's proximity to San Blas and Golf Del Sur was great too, with shops/restaurants about 200/300 yards away.
If you are fortunate enough to have a holiday at Villa Jacaranda, you WILL be pleased with your choice.”
