About the property

This property is situated in the exclusive area of Los Riscos, which overlooks Playa Blanca. It sits in an elevated position with breathtaking views of the whole of Playa Blanca and across to the islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos.

The large luxury detached villa has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathroom affording accommodation for up to 8 people. It has extensive terraces with a private heated pool and is surrounded by landscaped gardens.

The spacious living accommodation has been well designed and tastefully decorated and comprises of comfortable lounge area with stunning views out across to Fuerteventura with seating for up to 9. There is a wall mounted 42 inch plasma TV complete with Sky with full film and sport package, DVD player with surround sound and a selection of films are supplied. The dining area is elevated and overlooks the pool and terrace area and can seat up to 8 people. The villa also has ADSL wireless internet installed.

The kitchen is fully fitted with marble work tops and all modern appliances, including dishwasher, split level oven and fridge freezer. Attached to the kitchen is a separate Solana with a drying area, washing machine and iron.

Adjoining the rear of the kitchen is a large games room. This has a football table, TV and surround sound DVD player, karaoke and a Playstation 2 with a collection of games.

The master bedroom has a super king size bed and there are patio doors leading onto an outside terrace area. There is an en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi -bath and large walk in shower.

There are a further 3 bedrooms, one double and two singles, sharing two further bathrooms. One with a shower/bath and the other a walk in shower. Two of the bedrooms also share an outside private terrace with patio furniture affording stunning views over Playa Blanca. All the upstairs bedrooms are fitted with air conditioning.

Patio doors lead from both the dining area and the lounge lead onto outside terraces. There are separate terraces for sunbathing and dining. There is a barbecue area with fitted worktop and sink and an outside dining seating up to 10. The heated pool has steps down into the shallow end making it easily accessible especially for younger children. There is also a play house with a slide on the terrace to and a full size trampoline fitted with a safety net for the children to use.

Please note that the walls surrounding the terraces are low and young children must be supervised at all times.

Please note that due to the villas hillside location it may not be suitable for the elderly or persons with walking difficulties.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

Owner's Tips...

Playa Blanca has now grown to be one of the main tourists resorts of the island. The year round sunshine, water sports, spectacular views and walks make this resort a favourite with holiday makers young and old.

The newly completed Marina Rubicon offers a miriad of activities with bowling, fishing, sea excursions and many designer shops. It also has some of the best restaurants on the island and is a must to visit day and night.

The beach resort of Papagaya is just a short distance away and has one of the most beautiful stretches of golden sand on the whole island. The commercial centre is also a great place to head for with many bars restaurants and nightclubs for those wanting to dance the night away.
