Beautiful villa with private pool and supurb coastal views. The location is private, peaceful and relaxing yet only 5 minutes drive from the beaches, restaurants, nightlife and facilities of the main tourist resort of Puerto del Carmen. Beautiful day and night views to Puerto Del Carmen, Arrecife and out over the Atlantic.
Although a large villa, Villa Illiana has proved to be very popular with couples and honeymooners seeking a quiet and peaceful retreat, yet being only a short drive away from all the tourist activities when desired. Due to more daily flights now being available and now with the news that Ryan air will be starting 15 flights a week from the UK in October, we are pleased to now offer long weekend breaks.
If you travelling as couples, the villa affords good privacy and for those of you travelling with children and babies, we offer cots, highchairs, baby bath, cutlery, plates & beakers, potty, step-up, changing mat & stairgates, all free of charge. In the interior of the house, there are two steps down in to the lounge and one step in the hallway, the rest of the house is on one level. There are lockable doors and gates to prevent access to the pool area. The children have lots of videos, books, a selection of toys and games, buckets & spades, rubber rings and lilos for entertainment.
All main rooms are accessed from the large entrance/dining area; the lounge, kitchen and hallway are open plan and give a light and spacious feel.
The light and airy lounge with its large picture window overlooking the pool area, has stylish comfortable sofas, authentic Indian and Indonesian furniture and has seating for eight people. It is equipped with satellite TV (Freeview), DVD, video and radio/CD player. Patio doors lead on to an open terrace with views of the surrounding countryside and sea. There is a large video/DVD/CD library and for your further entertainment there are a variety of games, books and magazines.
There are two 'master bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms. The first bedroom has an en suite bathroom with roll top bath, large semi-circular shower, twin basins and WC, The second bedroom (The Moroccan Room), has en suite bathroom with bath, seperate shower, washbasin and WC. There are two further bedrooms, one twin and one double; they share the large, newly installed, shower room.
The large kitchen/diner is equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, larder fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle and coffee machine. There is a large breakfast bar and plenty of kitchen equipment is supplied, so for those of you who still wish to cook a gourmet meal whilst on holiday, everything you need is at hand!
Large built-in BBQ and ample seating. Open terrace with table and chairs for 'alfresco' dining. Unusual pool with views to the atlantic and the mountains, with mature gardens and sunloungers. A bright and airy one bedroom apartment, overlooking the pool, is included in the maximum rental price.

The Canarian village of La Asomada is a 10-minute drive to the resort of Puerto del Carmen with its' beaches and wide range of shops and restaurants. The village has a small supermarket, which is very close to hand. Further shopping facilities are available in the nearby town of Tias, which is the local parish capital.
This attractive, comfortable villa is situated in the Canarian village of La Asomada, a rural and quiet setting ensuring total tranquility and peace. When you wish to enjoy the hustle and bustle of a tourist resort, the main tourist area of Puerto del Carmen is a mere 6km drive away.
There you will find beautiful beaches, both large and small, an abundance of watersports, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and a golf course that is due to open later this year. The newly opened golf course of Puerto del Carmen is also only a 6km drive away!
There is a small local supermarket within walking distance of the villa.
La Asomada is very centrally located with easy access to the whole island and everything it has to offer.

Debi, the owner, is a very friendly and helpful lady offering us not only a change of mattress to suit a bad back, but also kindly allowing us to use her vacant rental villa to hang out at until our flight left that evening. “We wanted a very quiet place away from the noise of the main holiday areas but nearby to them. Villa Illeana is ideal. It is extremely peaceful, but only 10 minutes or so by car down to Puerto del Carmen which has lovely beaches and almost all the facilities you need. Other places are all within very easy reach.
The house itself is beautifully laid out and spacious. We were four (couple + two boys). There was plenty of room for us all to do our own thing, watch videos, read, or lounge about and not get in each other's way. (One room could do with shutters so you can leave the windows open at night: that's the main improvement I'd make. Not a major issue!) The owner, Debi, is very accessible.
I have thought hard about which rating to give. Few things in life are excellent and I am tempted to say just 'very good'. But the place is better than that!
In July it was very hot and often rather noisily windy. But simply part of the island experience.
We had a splendid time!”

“Villa Illiana is a fantastic home from home that is large enough for 2 families to share and yet has a cosy ambience that welcomes you at the end of a long day exploring or at the beach. Ideally located, the villa allows you to enjoy the quiet (and cooler) mountain area, whilst still being only a short trip from sandy beaches and clear waters great for snorkelling. The villa is great for simply relaxing with a good book and a dip in the pool for cooling down - the barbecue room adds real fun. We recommend hiring a car to explore the island - the Timanfaya volcano tour is a must, plus the market in Teguise on Sunday mornings (go early !), the Bond-villain cave at Jameos Del Agua and the Marina El Rubicon for chilling with a cocktail.”
