About the property

This villa is situated 5 minutes drive from Junction 73 on the A7/E15, 15 minutes from Alicante airport and 7 minutes from World Hertiage City of Elche.

It offers a lot of room and its own large swimming pool with kids area.

The main house has a master bedroom with en-suite, a double plus two single guest rooms with family bathroom.

There is a lounge and a dining room and well equipped kitchen. Patio doors lead to a furnished front terrace

Downstairs has a separate entrance with 2 bedrooms, 1 double plus 1 twin with pull out beds), bathroom, pool room and kitchen. The lounge is really 2 rooms, a seating area and this connects to a media room with TV and DVD.

Outside has a large pool and terraces. The front terrace has a teak dining set and lovely ratten furniture. Sit and enjoy en evening meal, glass of wine and the sunset. The gardens are young.
Depending on the time of year and weather there can be aircraft noise.(Airport 15mins away)

Owner's Tips...

Casa Bonavista is situated on the sunny hillside outside Elche with beautiful views over the valley to the sea and mountains. It is approx 10km to the beaches of Santa Pola and La Marina. 10 mins drive to Alenda Golf Club. 7 mins drive into Elche where you will find Carrefour, L’Allujub shopping centre, the historic city centre with a host of bars and restaurants, museums, galleries, the Basilica of Santa Maria, the Palm Gardens and much more.

The nearest local restaurant is 5 mins drive and there is a local Mercadona nearby.

There is so much to see in Elche and the surrounding area that I am not sure where to start, a bit of history maybe and how to get there.

Elche is 23km (14miles) from Alicante and it's the capital of the El Baix or Bajo Vinalopo (Lower Vinalopo) district. The third largest city in the Valencian Region in terms of population. The City's original site was at L'Alcudia, several kilometers south, where the Iberian bust of the Dama de Elche was found. The city was moved by the Moors to its present position and encircled with palm trees. The City of Palms, it is the largest plantation of palms in Europe with almost 300,000 trees (who counted them!) covering 430 hectares and because of this it has been declared a world heritage site. The visitor has much to see, once they have found their way around the one way system and actually found a car park.

August is Fiesta time in Elche and it all goes a bit mad. They have a Nit del Alba and the fireworks start around 5pm and end in the early hours. Watch out as people are always hurt as safety standards are low. The Processions are worth seeing and the Misteri (Link to below) if you understand Spanish.

Go to the tourist office and pick up some of their Ruta leaflets which are available in English. These give you walks around the city and take in the main things to see plus opening times etc.

Golf, horse riding, ice skating, squash and tennis are all within easy driving distance of the Casa.
