About the property

This is one of three villa which we have in a row, making them ideal for larger groups. These luxury villas are located in a prime elevated position just up the road from our main Club Oceano complex. These spacious villas are very close to the ever more popular old town fishing harbour and yet still within a 10 minute walk from the main beach and its promenade full of shops and restaurants. The villas, all south facing and in a quiet cul-de-sac road, are very sheltered from the prevailing winds making them a real suntrap and ideal for sun worshippers.

The accommodation is spacious with 3 large bedrooms, one with full en-suite bathroom and a further bathroom for the 2 other bedrooms. The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, electric kettle and toaster. There is a utility room with a washing machine, iron, ironing board and drying area. The villas are tastefully decorated and equipped to the highest standards with quality furniture and satellite TV.

The villa leads onto a large covered veranda furnished with stylish patio teak table and chairs and equipped with a built-in barbecue, making this a perfect spot for outside dining. The ample sun terrace with large private heated pool is well provided with sun loungers and umbrellas. Each villa has its own private car parking space with gate as well as its own entry phone intercom.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.

For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

Owner's Tips...

Puerto del Carmen is a combination of traditional and modern. Originally a quaint fishing harbour and village, the town has developed into a very attractive modern resort along the south facing bays of the Los Fariones, Pocillos and Matagorda beaches.

As with the rest of Lanzarote, great care has been taken in planning the architecture and landscape. The result is a beautiful promenade stretching the length of the three bays lined with palm trees and the colourful tropical flowers are a main feature.

The beautiful sandy beaches and clear blue water are ideal for sunbathing and swimming all year round. Puerto del Carmen is highly recommended as safe and suitable for young and old alike. The protected southerly situation shelters it from the prevailing winds on the North and East side of the island. The old fishing village has retained the harbour atmosphere and is an excellent place to sample the local fish restaurants and local shops which are only a short distance from all our properties. When the sun goes down, the beachfront livens up and there is a great selection of good quality restaurants, bars and discos later on.
