About the property

This three bedroom villa is built within a volcanic perimeter wall with gate and private car parking space. The walls surround colourful flower gardens and a large south facing terrace with comfortable sun-loungers; an ideal spot for sun worshippers.

The terrace is also equipped with an attractive built-in-barbecue and garden furniture to enjoy the perfect meal by the heated pool. If you do not feel like cooking, however, there is a good selection of restaurants just a short stroll away.

The accommodation consists of a spacious lounge with attractive dome shaped ceiling and indirect lighting with separate dining area, very tastefully furnished throughout. There is a modern open plan fully electric kitchen which is very well equipped to include microwave, toaster, electric kettle, full oven, hob, fridge freezer, iron and ironing board. Satellite TV is also installed.

The villa has three double bedrooms with twin or double bed thus sleeping six adults comfortably and we can also supply cots or extra beds for children. Two luxury bathrooms complete the accommodation, one en-suite to the master bedroom, the second between the second and third bedroom.

Located just 200 yards from the main beach and all amenities, Mimi is in a great location!

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.

For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

Owner's Tips...

Puerto del Carmen is a combination of traditional and modern. Originally a quaint fishing harbour and village, the town has developed into a very attractive modern resort along the south facing bays of the Los Fariones, Pocillos and Matagorda beaches. As with the rest of Lanzarote, great care has been taken in planning the architecture and landscape. The result is a beautiful promenade stretching the length of the three bays lined with palm trees and the colourful tropical flowers are a main feature.

The beautiful sandy beaches and clear blue water are ideal for sunbathing and swimming all year round. Puerto del Carmen is highly recommended as safe and suitable for young and old alike. The protected southerly situation shelters it from the prevailing winds on the North and East side of the island. The old fishing village has retained the harbour atmosphere and is an excellent place to sample the local fish restaurants and local shops which are only a short distance from all our properties. When the sun goes down, the beachfront livens up and there is a great selection of good quality restaurants, bars and discos later on.
