About the property
Casa Fuente Largo is a detached two-storey spacious villa (160 square metres) with 4 bedrooms and swimming pool. The villa's ground floor consists of a spacious lounge with dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. The villa is ideal for disabled guests as there is a ground floor twin bedroom and shower room which is accessible without steps.
A marble staircase leads from the lounge to the first floor where there are 3 further bedrooms and a shower room. All the first floor bedrooms have spacious balconies with fabulous views over the surrounding countryside.
At the front of the villa is a covered patio area overlooking the gardens and at the rear of the property is a secluded courtyard (100 sq metres) and a variety of individual seating and sunbathing areas to choose from in the sun or shade. Beyond this courtyard is the owners accommodation and beyond this is the spacious sun terrace with pool (the pool sun terrace is a further 100 sq metres).
Bedroom 1 (ground floor) with twin beds. Upper floor bedrooms, all with spacious balconies overlooking the surrounding countryside. Bedroom 2 with double bed. Bedroom 3 with double bed. Bedroom 4 with single bed. A sofa bed on the ground floor will sleep one person enabling the villa to sleep 8 in total. There are electric radiators in the bedrooms. A cot is available.
Ground floor shower room with handbasin and wc with handrails and seat for the disabled. Upper floor family size shower room with handbasin and wc. A hairdryer is supplied for guest use.
Spacious lounge with log fire, TV, DVD player, CD player and lounge seating for 8 persons. Sofabed will sleep an 8th person in the lounge. Dining area with seating for 6 persons. Satellite TV showing UK channels and Sky freeview channels.
Well-equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, iron/board.
The villa has an 8 x 4 metre swimming pool which is exclusively for the villa guests. WC and shower room with hot water on the pool terrace. Sunbeds, various outside dining furniture, 8 separate secluded seating areas in the gardens, BBQ.
The owners have their own access drive from the road to their accommodation in the rear gardens and utmost privacy to guests is given at all times. They do not use the pool when guests are staying at the villa. The owners have 2 friendly Jack Russell terriers who live with the owners in their accommodation but may have access to the garden areas during guest stays.
Ample secure parking in villa's driveway for several cars. The property is wheelchair accessible to the ground floor.
The owners live in accommodation at the rear of the villa in the gardens and do not use the pool. The owners will meet guests at Alicante/Murcia airports if desired (during the hours 8am to 8pm) otherwise detailed drive directions will be issued.

Rental includes a full clean before your arrival and linen/towels. For bookings of 2 weeks, a linen and towel change is provided.
Refundable security damages deposit of £150 is payable in addition to the rental which is refunded to you within 10 working days of departure once the villa has been cleaned/changed over.
25% of rental as deposit will secure your booking and the balance of rental plus security damages deposit is payable 8 weeks before your arrival.
We can accept payment by credit card.
Owner's Tips...
Hondon Valley is situated to the west of the Sierras Crevillente, a mountain range about 18 miles inland of the Costa Blanca. This is an agricultural area - grapes, olives, almonds. The nearest village, Hondon de los Frailes, is just a few minutes drive from the villa and has a good choice of bars and restaurants and the usual village shops.
The neighbouring village of Hondon de los Nieves (10 minutes drive) also has an excellent choice of bars, restaurants, wineries and shops. There are several restaurants offering good value lunch and evening meal menus situated in the lovely village square. Slightly further afield, 20 minutes drive, you will find an excellent choice of amenities at Alicante and Elche - theatres, cinemas, shops, tapas bars, restaurants.
