About the property

The one bedroom bungalow apartment is close to a beautiful pool, ideal for a family of up to 4, on the very edge of Caleta de Fuste. There are ample amenities to keep you happy, these include a gym and jaccuzi close by, as well as two supermarkets, the Malibu pool bar.

The bungalow has one twin bedroom, fitted wardobes, dressing table and bedside cabinets for extra comfort the bedroom has a ceiling fan.

The kitchen area has a dining table and four chairs, it is equipped with an electric two ring hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and toaster, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils.

The lounge area has a double sofa bed, television, satallite with multi channels, small book library and air conditioning. From the lounge the patio doors open onto the patio area, pleasent views are over the garden or pool.

If you want peace and quiet, but want to be close to the town centre, then this is ideal for you.

About Costa Caleta, Fuerteventura

Costa Caleta (formerly known as Caleta de Fuste) thrives on tourism, with lots of accommodation to offer, a fantastic golden sandy beach popular for water sports enthusiasts. The tourist centre of El Castillo (the castle) stands next to the harbour and is well worth a visit.

The town of Caleta is often referred to as a holiday village. The man made beach has been carefully constructed to avoid currents and is in the shape of a horse shoe. This ensures it is perfectly safe for children of all ages. Those wanting to be a little more adventurous can go diving, hire jet skis or learn to windsurf at the water centre on the beach. Costa Caleta harbour is home to many yachts, catamarans and boats which provide local trips as well as providing a beautiful backdrop in the evenings.

There is a multitude of good restaurants in Costa Caleta that can cater for all tastes at very reasonable prices. Steaks and Fish are particularly good, however there are also Chinese, Indian, Greek and English restaurants all within a close area. There are also a number of good supermarkets within the area.

Situated on the east coast of the island, roughly 10km south of the airport and approximately 20 minutes south of Puerto del Rosario. There is a local bus service, which runs every 30 minutes and provides air conditioned coaches for the trip. At 1 Euro (65p) it is an extremely cheap and easy way to get around. Budget car rental in Costa Caleta is available for those wishing to explore the island at their leisure.

Owner's Tips...

There are ample amenities to keep you happy, these include; a gym and jaccuzi close by, as well as two supermarkets, the Malibu pool bar, restaurants, and the Monte Castillo Centre itself, which includes childrens amusments and the Bouncy Castle.

There is a shuttle train that runs regularly into the town centre, harbour and back, additionally the taxi service is very reliable and costs a few euros. The walk into the town and beach is a pleasant 10 minutes.

Activities on the island are numerous, there is a zoo, water park, surfing, windsurfing, diving, fishing and beautiful beaches. Trips via coach are bookable locally. To see the island we recommended that a car is hired.
