About the property

Our Al Andalus Thalassa apartment was completed on 3rd August 2007 by the renowned developer Keymare.

The apartment is described as sleeping up to 5 however we can accommodate more as we have access to other apartments on the development for a possible combined booking. The availability calendar that you link to from this advert shows the bookings for our apartment only - please note there could be availability at the other apartments on this site so please feel free to enquire. Our apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 double with en-suite & 1 twin, 1 family bathroom, lounge & fully equipped kitchen. There is air conditioning. The apartment is fully equipped and ready for a comfortable relaxing holiday. The lounge has a sofa and sofa bed along with dining table and 4 chairs. For your entertainment there is Sky satellite TV, DVD player and Playstation 2. Free WiFi.

There is a large SW facing three sectioned terrace with table and chairs and with a sea view. You are also welcome to help yourself to all of the drinks in the drinks cabinet free of charge.

Sports and beach equipment are also provided as part of the package. There is a covered parking space for your hire car. The site is secure and has two outdoor swimming pools (open May-Sept) as well as two childrens splash pools. There is also a spa centre (open all year) incorporating an indoor swimming pool, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, waterjet circuit, jacuzzis, gym and relaxation area. On site there is also a tennis court, two paddle tennis courts and a boules area. The development has a children's playground & extensive gardens. Full use of all facilities are included within the price.

About us

I am Andrew Rampton and together with my friends John Morley, Stephen Allen and John Stokes we decided to invest in a property overseas. We committed to the purchase back in May 2005 and the property was completed in August 2007 (only 6 months late!). We chose the Vera Playa area after having made a few visits to check out what it had to offer our respective families as well as a view to what we thought renters would like. We definitely decided early on that we did not want a Benidorm type property - no disrespect to Benidorm intended! Vera Playa and the surrounding areas of, amongst others of Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar we thought represented a happy balance between quietness, location to beaches and to an unspoilt in land exploring opportunity. We chose Al Andalus Thalassa in particular due to its location and the leisure activities, including the heated indoor pool, sauna and steam room that are all included on site as well as the site being very secure and family friendly. Overall we maintain the apartment to the standards that all four of our families would expect on a self catering holiday and we hope that you, if you choose to stay, want for nothing and have an excellent relaxing break. We are also very proactive in giving lots of advice and are not just interested in making rental income. We want the area to thrive and to be of benefit and enjoyment of all who visit.

What we love about our property

For us the property offers both a convenient location in terms of being a mile or so from the coast, but having access to a number of locations both beach or cultural/tourist orientated. For example there are some really good street markets in local towns that offer the chance to buy both local foods as well as presents to take home. Also the locality has a great variety in the area of both ex-pat bars that offer traditional British fayre and some very authentic Spanish bars to enjoy tapas, seafood and paella.The apartment is situated on a very well presented estate, with good security and facilities like indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

“WE had a great 8 weeks here in Feb/March 2008. The apartment was lovely, everything we wanted. It was nice to be able to keep up with the news on the Satellite TV, and to play DVD's which we brought with us, although there was a huge stock in the cupboard.The indoor pool was like a bath, and the jacuzzi was wonderful. We will surely come back for a further visit some time.”
