Tranquility, like its neighbour Serenity, is a very stylish apartment with 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin and is fully equipped and furnished to a very high standard. Tranquility has a modern fitted kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower, contemporary sitting room and fantastic outside facilities. Wi Fi internet connection.

The location of Serenity and Tranquility is beautiful; very peaceful and perfect for a completely relaxing holiday. The properties are set in 2.5 acres of gardens with outstanding views over the almond and olive groves to the mountains. There is a landscaped garden terrace/patio with swimming pool which is exclusively for the use of Serenity and Tranquility guests. The properties are available for rental together (3 bedrooms sleeping 6/8 persons). The owners live in the neighbouring villa which does not overlook the apartments, patio or pool terrace and gardens. They are on hand if you require any advice about the local area, restaurants, etc. but will utterly respect your privacy.

Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. An extra single bed can be provided for a 5th person upon request. Bathroom with bath, shower, handbasin, wc.

Fitted kitchen with hob/oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, open plan to the dining area with table and chairs. Stylishly furnished open plan sitting area with sofa, TV (Spanish terrestrial channels), DVD player, DVD/CD/book collection for guest use, radio/CD player.

The apartment opens on to an outside seating and dining patio terrace, east facing so perfect for sunny breakfasts and shady lunches. BBQ for guest use. A few steps from the patio to the pool terrace with surrounding landscaped and planted gardens. The swimming pool is 8 x 4 metres with roman steps and underwater lighting and there is a poolside shower. The gardens are completely private and not overlooked and there are no neighbouring properties close by.

The owners can provide airport transfers and a tailor-made service suited for your shopping trips, days out etc, details and prices on request. A guide of places to visit and local information is provided in each property.

Quality towels and bedlinen are included and are changed weekly. Pool towels are provided. Welcome Pack included with water, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, spread, eggs, biscuits, condiments, toilet tissue, washing up liquid. Complimentary home grown fruit as available.

The swimming pool is available from 1 April (or Easter if earlier) until 31 October.

Holiday rental prices

Rental includes a full clean before your arrival and quality linen/towels. For bookings of 2 weeks, a linen and towel change is provided.

The owners will meet you on arrival to show you around and tell you about the local area, where to shop/eat, etc.

Refundable security damages deposit of £100 is payable in addition to the rental which is refunded to you within 10 working days of departure once the property has been cleaned/changed over.

25% of rental as deposit will secure your booking and the balance of rental plus security damages deposit is payable 8 weeks before your arrival.

We can accept payment by credit card.

Booking arrival/departure dates are flexible in this property, subject to fitting in with other bookings.

Owner's Tips

Tranquility is 40 minutes drive north west of Murcia city in countryside known as "Campo de Ricote", a scenic unspoilt area of traditional towns and villages nestling in the Sierra del Oro (Gold Mountains). The area is perfect for walking, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, canoeing and for the more relaxing pursuits of painting, birdwatching and fishing. There are many places of interest to explore locally and much opportunity to sample the local cuisine, regional dishes, tapas and wines. The area is a fruit growing area with an abundance of citrus, peach, apricot, cherry, almond as well as grapes for eating and making the local Ricote wine. The beaches of the Costa Calida are 75 minutes drive, Granada is 2 hours drive, whilst local places of interest such as the sanctuary of the Saint Esperanza at Calasparra are within 45 minutes drive. Car hire is essential although the owners can provide airport transfers/tailor made trips to local places of interest if you do not wish to drive.

The nearest shops, bars and restaurants are at Blanca, Ricote, Abaran and Bullas, which all have banks, bakeries, supermarkets, chemist and a local market day, are within a 20 minute drive radius. The two local restaurants serve paella, meats cooked on the open fire and other traditional Spanish fayre. You can also order takeaway paella. The owners have lots of information and recommendations about local bars and restaurants and will call and order paella for you if you don´t speak Spanish.

About us
I started my business Find The Real Spain from the successful and extremely enjoyable experience of renting my own property, La Terraza, in the Jalon Valley. Friends and neighbours here in Spain approached me to rent their properties for them and that´s how the business started! I have a portfolio of around 30 properties for holiday rental - individual, high-quality and all with private pools, in the areas of the Jalon Valley, inland Costa Blanca and inland Costa del Azahar (between Alicante and Valencia).

What we love about our business
I´ve always enjoyed travel, homes, gardens and sunshine so I guess this is the ultimate job for me! We offer a very "hands on" approach to our guests ensuring that they are met on arrival, shown around their holiday property, answer any questions they may have on arrival and we are always at the end of a phone for support if required during their stay (the holiday property information folder is comprehensive but there is always further information that can be helpful depending on the guests´ particular interests).
