About Sonia I

This is a spacious 3 bedroomed town house situated in a residential suburb of La Zenia only 10 minutes walk to 2 beaches.

The lounge is large with seating for 6 people it has english TV, DVD player and video. There is a good size kitchen which is well equipped for 6, there is a washing machine, microwave, oven and hob, fridge freezer, iron, ironing board. There is also a downstairs toilet.

The back has a patio with table and chairs a sun canopy and an outside sink. It is a gated area so that it is very safe for children.

On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, the main bedroom has a big wardrobe and also a dressing room. The second bedroom has a large wardrobe and a door leading to a small terrace. The bathroom with bath and shower is also on this floor. The second floor has two single beds and this floor also leads to a big sun terrace with sun canaopy, table and chairs.

Upon booking a deposit of 25% will be required immediately. The balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to your holiday. You will be notified to pay the balance by your preferred choice of communication.

A £100 returnable deposit will be required to be paid at the time of booking. This is a guarantee against damage or misuse of the property. This is fully refundable at the end of the booking period (please allow up to 14 days) for receipt.

There will be additional costs for meet and greet if outside normal working hours, airport transfers etc.

The rental costs include the provision of bedlinen and towels. There is however a 55 euros charge for laundry/cleaning of the property on your departure up to 4 people, 5 euros per extra person.

Owner's Tips

La Zenia has lots to offer with their two magnificent beaches with beach bars and play areas for children. La Zenia beach offers special access to the disabled with public lavatories, showers, first aid station, public telephone, parking, taxi and bus stop points.

If you enjoy walking then take a stroll along the picturesque coastal path around the headland to Cabo Roig where you will find another delightful beach and attractive marina. Other blue flag beaches along this coastline are Playa Flamenca and Mil Palmeras. A 10 - 15 minute drive from the house will take you to 3 of the most World Famous Golf courses, Villamartin offering 18 holes, Las Ramblas and Campoamor.

If you feel like a change from the pool at the house, then only a 5 minute walk will take you to the Orihuela Costa Resort with its pool, tennis courts and bowling and also offers refreshments.

Also nearby are supermarkets, chemist, a variety of shops, horse riding, go karts and bicycle hire. Within a 10 minute stroll you will come across bars and restaurants with a couple of Irish bars, Chinese, Indian and bars who offer nightly entertainment.

To the north of La Zenia about 15 minutes drive lies the cosmopolitan town of Torrevieja. Here you will find in abundance bars, restaurants, shops, nightclus alongside more beaches with the Mediterranean's calm and crystal waters lapping the white sand, ideal for children and most have lots of entertainment areas including volleyball and waterslides. There are lots of cafes along the promenade and on Friday it hosts one of the largest markets in Europe selling genuine Spanish handicrafts to low priced leather goods. To the South of La Zenia along the scenic road of the N332 is the Mar Menor, worth a visit for its beautiful beaches and lagoon, again ideal for children.

“We have just returned from a well relaxed and hot break. This was the 1st time we had stayed in La Zenia and cant wait to go back. I have left loads of instructions in the comments book, as we thought it would be helpful to let people know which way to walk and drive to find things. we didnt have transport so walked everywhere!! Very good for me!! i would recommend this apartment to any one, so easy to get around for young families, couples the elderly great access to beaches shops supermarkets, just have to bypass the big road to get to the supermarkets, but there is easy access over wel situated foot bridges good for pushchairs etc.
Will definately go back very soon thanks.”

“The house and gated community with so many locks seemed a little unusual at the start (but we're not typically Spanish), but it grew on us.
The kitchen is a little sparse for cutlery/plates, but we added some picnic utensils/plates. Tidied up and dumped some busted deck chairs, and then got on with enjoying ourselves.
The pool is lovely, clean and not busy. The area is fairly quiet, and yet central to shops/restaurants and getting around in the car - there's loads of lovely places to go and see, or loads of lovely beaches etc.
Overall, we had a great time. Lovely house, pool and general area. Also got on well with neighbours. Definitely recommend it.”

“Wow a really terrific Villa everything in its place and a place for everything. Air conditioning and ceiling fans a great bonus. There was even buckets ans spades for the beach. A couple of things not working when we arrived e.g. the cd player a must with young children, especially when its too hot to go out, and the rear patio canape was broken, this meant that there was no shade outside in the rear garden. This was reported to the Agency, who assured us that it was about to be fixed. However the pool was really fantastic clean and cool, car parking off street for the rental car an essential. Beach was a short walk away we have a three year ols and he managed to walk there and back.A very tranquil holiday and a definate villa for all ages within the family. We would definatley recommend this villa, and are sriously considering a return visit next year that's how much the hole family enjoyed this villa/holiday.”
