Description About the property

Casa Lisandre consists of three bed detached villa with a large garden and separate guesthouse to the rear, situated in a quiet Spanish residential area.

The main house has one double bedroom, with air-conditioning unit and two twin bedrooms, and bathroom, with bath and shower. The lounge diner has an air-condioning unit, a TV/DVD/ freeview channels, stereo, open fire, a table to seat six people, a traditional Spanish kitchen with all you need to cater for your holiday, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, oven, gas hob and toaster.

The guesthouse is to the rear of the main house; it has a double bedroom, a lounge diner with a sofabed to accommodate four people in total. It has a small kitchenette with kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge/freezer. The bathroom has a walk in shower.

Outside consists of a large garden, 8 x 4 swimming pool and sheltered barbecue area with sink and food preparation area.

The villa is situated 5 minutes drive from the beach and close to local shops and amenities. Chiclana is a traditional Spanish town with stunning churches and buildings, a shopping area, covered market selling fresh fruit/veg, meat and a fantastic variety of seafood.

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and are based on 8 people sharing.

1st July - 15th September £950 per week for up to 8 guests
(Plus £50 per additional guest)
16th September - 30th June £750 per week for up to 8 guests
(Plus £50 per additional guest)

We require a £250 breakages deposit and a 25% booking fee 4 weeks in advance of your holiday. All bookings within 4 weeks of the date of the holiday will need to be paid in full.

Chiclana has the perfect climate, the heat of summer is offset by cooling Atlantic breezes and the winters are generally warm and sunny. With over 3,400 hours of sunshine a year, its coastline and facilities make it a top quality location for year round sports and leisure activities. Indeed the Spanish themselves favour this holiday destination.

The Atlantic coast here, has sea warmed by the Gulf Stream, so it is pleasant to swim in all year round. Being tidal, the beaches are fresh & clean, and La Barrosa holds the prestigious Blue Flag award.

Recommendations Owner's Tips...

Chiclana de la Frontera is a lively bustling ancient town with a wide range of shops and all the usual amenities including a historic theatre, art gallery, library and college which offers Spanish lessons. There is a large indoor market where local fruit, vegetables, fresh fish, meat, snails, shrimps, bread and cakes are all on sale from Monday to Saturday, as Sunday is a religious day.

There is another market every Tuesday morning where you can snap up bargains galore including clothes, local spices, leather goods (including soft leather hand-made shoes) and typically Spanish food including olives.

In the town centre you will find typical Spanish local bodejas (wine shops) where you can sample the local wines. If you take your own containers, a litre of wine will typically cost around £0.30 (approx €0.45).

Only a short distance from Chiclana lies the town of San Fernando which has a large shopping complex. Only a ten-minute journey from Chiclana is the beautiful beach at Sancti Petri. Here there is a busy marina in the nearby harbour where you can participate in numerous water sports including jet skiing, canoeing, deep sea diving and sea fishing trips. You should sample Sancti Petri's wonderful fish restaurants: their menus offer a wide selection of freshly caught fish at reasonable prices.

A little further along the coast you will find the impressive golden sandy beach of La Barossa - a popular tourist attraction during the summer season. Here you will find restuarants, bars, beach shops and kiosks. During the night the area is alive with street entertainers and small markets that offer a selection of goods from Morocco.

There are several cake and coffee shops in the town where you can just sit and watch the world go by while enjoying the gorgeous pastries. Join the locals as they enjoy merienda (high tea). You must also try a local breakfast dish called 'churros', deep-fried sticks of batter, normally dipped in sugar and served with hot chocolate or coffee.

The golf academy Novo Sancti Petri comprises of 10 PGA-qualified professionals running courses for beginners and advanced the whole year through in various languages (Spanish, English, German, Dutch, French).

The golf course, the first one in Spain designed by Severiano Ballesteros, offers 36 holes which are divided into two rounds of 18 holes. 27 holes were inaugurated in 1990 and the additional 9 holes in spring 2001.

This villa is also located 10 minutes away from San Andres a 9 hole golf course on the Cadiz-Malaga road near to the town of Chiclana and the beautiful fishing village of Conil.
