Beautifully restored farmhouse in the hills above the pretty Andalucian town of Almunecar. Costa Tropical.
The climate on the Costa Tropical is warm and sunny all year round. In the winter months the nights can be colder but we have wood burning stoves installed in the kitchen and living room to take the chill off at night.
Stunning views and sun all day long. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower. Large living room, pretty kitchen and diner farmhouse style. Large roof terrace and front patio.
The house has all modern amenities but tastefully fitted so not to interfere with the ambience and charm of the property.
There is a washing machine, modern oven and electric hob, 2 fully fitted bathrooms with showers, satellite TV with channels in English, French and German. Also a stereo music system and DVD player.
The swimming / plunge pool pool is set in its own patio area with stunning views down the valley. It is 4.6 metres diameter and 1.2 metres deep.
There are 4 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 2 with 2 single beds in each room, so the property can sleep 8 people.
There is ample parking. A car is recommended, unless you just want to chill out in the mountains and go walking and nature watching.
It must be emphasised that this is primarily a rural location and only suitable for those wanting a holiday in a beautiful and peaceful setting in the Andalucian hills. Although only 10 minutes drive from the local village with its shops and restaurants ( Torre Cuevas ) and 18 minutes drive from the beaches and historic town of Almunecar.

This ideally located town is a great choice all year round. Protected by the valley of the Verde River, the climate is good with lots of sun and warm winds that blow from North Africa. Almuñecar is becoming more and more popular with foreign visitors; even the Spanish residents choose to come here for their holidays.
This is a place that offers lots for the holidaymakers but hasn’t been ruined by tourism. Attractions include the famous Loro Sexi Park, which has over 120 different species of bird and the botanical garden that has subtropical plants mainly from Brazil and Cuba.
For more historical adventures go to the Palacete de la Najarra, which is a small Moorish palace built in the 19th century. Nowadays it’s the local tourist office and advice can be given on various days out.
Visit Almunecar, a typical Andalucian town with tapas bars, beaches, restaurants, Roman remains etc.
Visit Nerja and its caves 30 mins drive away. All sports available plus stunning walks and local flora and fauna, a birdwatchers dream.
The whole coast line has to be seen to be appreciated. Historic Granada only 1 hours drive away.
