About Private Apartments Solymar

One bedroom private apartments Solymar with balcony overlooking pool. Centrally but very quiet situated on the most south point of the Avenida de Tirajana. Fully equipped (also for longterm) for 1-3 people, separate bedroom, living room with American kitchen, TV, safe, balcony. Bathroom with shower and bath. Price includes cleaning service two times a week and changing towels; bed linen one time a week. Free WiFi.

Solymar is situated near the famous dunes of Maspalomas and just 200 meters away from shopping centre Cita. Bus stop nearby. Solymar has a pool, separate childrens pool, sun terrace, poolbar, restaurant, hairdresser and rent-a-car. Supermarket just around the corner, as well as taxi stop. To reach the main beach of Playa del Inglés its only a 10 minutes stroll along the beautiful promenade. Our office and your reception, CanaryRent, is in the same complex.

Ask for our special price for long term renting (more than 6 weeks), we offer special prices for longterm renting already from 750 Euro by month (summer)!

About Playa del Ingles, Gran Canaria

Playa del Ingles can be a difficult place to get around, the streets look very similar and there doesn’t seem to be an obvious “town centre”. However it does have everything to offer, the 4km of golden sandy beach is a good start, followed by guaranteed sunshine throughout the year and an array of restaurants to suit everyone. Local public transport is also well served here with regular buses and lots of car hire firms nearby.

The famous dunes of Maspalomas are just a few meters away. Solymar is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday in the sun. Parking place (free) around the corner. We also offer taxi transfer from and to airport. Long term renting: from 750 Euro by month, incl. all costs and final cleaning.

What we love about our business
Our private apartments in Solymar are very well equipped, and most important, its location! Near the dunes of Maspalomas, just 10 minutes walk to the beach of Playa del Inglés. Very quiet situated. To shopping centre Cita, with all its restaurants, bars and shops, just 5 min. walk and to Yumbo leisure centre its about 10 minute walk. Our office is in the same building of Solymar, so if you need anything just come by to see us in our office CanaryRent.

“Enjoyed my stay at Sol y Mar and for those wishing to stay near the dunes end of Playa Del Ingles this really is a 4* location which is under played.
At the time of visit the apartments were spotlessly clean except for a small clump of dirt in the corner of my balcony. (I have quality controlled accommodation for many major holiday company's - including bouncing on bed to check for dust on top of cupboards)
On site is a pizza restaurant/bar (downstairs), tapas bar (upstairs) hairdressers, car hire and canary rent.The supermarket had closed down but there was one a mere 2 blocks away which was very competitive.
The pool was quite secluded and I have swum in many colder ones in resort. Water pressure for the shower, fed by hose from the taps, was more than adequate.
On arrival I thought that the apartments were not so much tired as comatose, with exterior white paint newly painted over masonry cracks, interior paintwork chipped and showing grey on top of green on top of primer - however, these defects became insignificant over the stay of the hloiday.
For the amount charged these are at the bottom end of the market and are better than that.”

“lekker dicht bij het strand, schoon apartement, één keer extra een schoonmaak is aan te bevelen + schone handdoeken, goed aan te lopen naar Yumbo -als je dat zou willen- en een prima lokatie verder. vraag wél een apartement wat verder gelegen van de weg....dat is rustiger slapen.
het contact met het management is perfect!!! uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam.”
