About the property

Casa Vanessa is a typical Casereño town house that has recently been lovingly restored. It is situated on one of the pretty, narrow and virtually traffic free lanes in the white village of Casares just a few minutes from its bustling centre, Plaza de España.

Downstairs there is a pleasant kitchen fitted with hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, electric kettle and all the necessary pots and pans. There is seating for two at the ceramic tiled breakfast counter. The clean and modern shower-room and toilet are also downstairs. The second floor is taken up by the living room which has patio doors going out onto a small balcony over-looking the quaint street and with views down towards the mediterrenean sea. The third floor accommodates the comfortable twin bedroom again with patio doors going out onto a slightly larger balcony from where you can sit and watch the world go by.

This sweet little traditional village house offers very pleasant accommodation for those who wish to experience Andalucian Pueblo life at first-hand.

Owner's Tips...

The white village of Casares is a lovely example of a life-style still steeped in tradition and the countryside.The people are very friendly and there are a good selection of bars and restaurants offering local fare as well as some very typical Spanish village shops which serve the local community well.The annual ferias which take place on the first week-end in August and around the 15th.September are riotous affairs with music and dancing in the street all night long.

There is a clean and pleasant public swimming pool, with nice grassed areas for sun-bathing just a few minutes away from Casa Vanessa. It is open from 20th June untill 20th September. The village of Casares is set on the edge of The Sierra Crestellina National Park and here there are some wonderful walks into the unspoilt countryside where the air is clear and fresh. The birdwatching is amongst the best in Europe and the spring wild flowers are quite delightful.

Costa del Sol. The bars, beautiful beaches, restaurants and nightlife of the Costa del Sol are about 25 minutes away and so Casa Vanessa can offer you the best of both worlds. A traditional village holiday plus all the activity and entertainment you could desire. And for the golfers there is a marvellous choice of world class golf courses within easy reach.

Going inland from Casares there is much to see and explore with more unspoilt countryside, pretty white villages and historic towns such as Ronda and Jerez all within easy driving distance.
